Looking to throw some spacers on until my current Terra Grapplers run its course and I'm able to move on to 285s. In the meantime, I was eyeing Spidertraxx, but was debating on 1.25" or 1.5". Any of you that are running either, can you post pics? TIA!

I ran them on two different Wranglers with nary an issue. As long as they're hub-centric and aircraft grade aluminum, spacers are fine. And Spidertrax makes the best.

Yea I'm sure I would a bit. I run a 1" Cornfed lift up front, but sure I would have to do some slight fender liner mods

I added 1.6" lift up front and rubbed pretty bad even with the mudflap gone which didn't matter since it was my bumper/fender liner that rubbed. Wasn't worth the rub so I removed them. 1.25" was bad 1.5" would be worse.

Yes. Trimming is no big deal, but I wasn't in the mood that day so I removed them.

What is the purpose of wheel spacers?

Increased track width. With A-arm IFS you loose track width as you lift the vehicle. A wheel spacer (or lower offsets) will get you back to stock or allow you to increase track width.

I have a 1.6" lift with 285's. Caster set at 3.6 degrees with the fender liner mod. I did not rub with a 1" spacer up front. Now I have a 1.5" spacer up front and have a very slight rub at full lock in reverse. I suspect I wound't rub at all with 1.25" spacers and my current set-up.......but I can't know until I try it.

Here's a pic with the stock Offroad wheels and a 1.5" wheel spacer up front. The rear end has 1" wheel spacers. The rear is perfectly flush (to my eye) and the front pokes a little. With my 1.6" lift in front, I feel a 1.25" spacer would make the tires up front perfectly flush like the rear.

Sorry I don't have a better pic of the fronts but this will give you a little bit of an idea on the stance:

Forgot to mention.......my Offroad wheels are a +15 offset. Your Pro wheels are a +4 offset.

The same size spacer is going to make your tires poke out further than mine.

    Excellent explanation, thank you.

I didn't even consider or know about the track width narrowing with an IFS with a lift.

    Makes sense to me.

What’s the width on your wheels? Mine are pencils . Also, what made you run staggered spacers? Thanks! Rig looks so good

    Thank you!

Staggered spacers are because of my lift height up front. As you lift the independent front suspension of our trucks, the tires get sucked in and the track width gets narrower. The higher you go, the narrower you get up to a point. So let's say I lift my truck 1.6" high and put 1.25" spacers on all around, the track width in the front would still be narrower than the rear because the lift in the front sucked the track width in. By having a larger wheel spacer up front, I'm trying to get roughly the same track width front and back.

Good point about the wheel width. Forgot about that.

My wheels are 7.5" wide and your are 7". So the difference in offset will be tempered some with your slightly narrower wheels.

Hopefully @Jynarik can post some photos of his truck with Pro wheels and 1.25" wheel spacers. I think he recently added some aftermarket wheels, but maybe he has some older photos lying around he can share.

Ended up with the 1.25”. I think this is how it should have came from the factory.

I do get a bit on on full lock in reverse, and I'm lifted 1 inch up front. Little fender liner push back will fix it.

I'd hoped to get aftermarket wheels (FN or SCS) to fix this issue, but with everything back ordered forever I may look at doing this. Had them on my '08 before buying a set of FN Six Shooters. I despise these TRD wheels on my '20.

Yea for a TRD wheel you'd assume it would be 8" minimum. My moms 96 Tercel had a wider wheel lol. This is also temporary for me until these tires are done then I'll plan to upgrade. Those six shooters

Unless your mom was running aftermarket dubs, those were 4.5 inch wheels.

Installed a roughcountry 2" front spacer and 1" rear spacer on cousin's TRDOR 4runner. Installed the 1.25" spidertraxx and had to do minor trimming on front bumper to remove rubbing with factory wheels/tires. Installed 275/70r17 a few months later, had to do additional trimming of front bumper and mud flaps but nothing crazy, def doable with a utility knife.

did they rub with the spacers BEFORE you put on the spidertraxx?? I wanted to put 285's with a 2" front and 1" rear on a pro with no trimming, I will forego the spidertraxx if that will be the issue? ty
