I know its such a slight difference, but do you guys have any opinions between the two? Lol I have no preference, just want to see if there are any pros/ cons for either.

Can you guys post pics of your rigs if you have 2.5 or 3 inch lifts?

Want to get an idea of what they'll look like after the suspension sits a bit too.

Does yours have KDSS? If so it's generally recommended to stay at 2.5" or less for the front. I don't think there is a consensus on that lift height restriction, but you may encounter some issues with lean and ride quality if you go much higher than 2.5". That said, I'll be going with a 3" Dobinsons (stock weight) which I feel should settle to around 2.5" due to the weight of my sliders and steel skids.

If you don't have KDSS, I would do 3" front all day long.

Well, 2.5 is about the cutoff for needing new UCA's, so if you don't want to mess with that I'd stick with 2"-2.5".

When I lift mine, I want to stick with 2" front. AFAIK, 3" doesn't really allow a bigger tire than a 2", and my thinking is I'd rather leave a little down travel left at 2" than being topped out at 3".

    Just my .02.

3 inches might be at the ragged edge of where you might also need to consider a diff drop kit. When I chose mine, I asked about that from the vendor. 2.5 inches doesn’t need it. I did get new UCAs, though.

Do your bigger tires rub when turning?

They did slightly in the front, little bit of trimming fixed it (trimmed a lot more than needed for more clearance when stuffing tires and also looks). Then of course, the dreaded body mount that was resolved with a body mount chop and having the caster adjusted.
Rear tires have been stuffed and have no rubbing. They’re 295’s, so a true 33” tire.

Looks real good! I kept the stock 265/70/17 tires but went with wider, offset wheels.
I didn't end up trimming since the quarter panel was bent in enough to stop hitting the wheel well.

As soon as I need new tires, I'm going to go bigger.

A part of me wishes I did that as well, and then started mods after factory equipment pooped out. Nice rig! I dig the color combo.

Lol! I hope I can bring back some better weather with me.

I couldn't be much happier with it. I'm still getting decent fuel economy. Acceleration is still good. I need to trim the mud-flaps but otherwise no rubbing.

I can't wait to really test them out!

    2.5 with UCA’s. It’s a limited so looks a bit strange.

    Thank you!

0 offset. The tires are pretty flush with the fenders.
