I think it may be only the 14+ with nav units

This is my start up and off display. Followed the directions and especially the case sensitive folder name requirements. Took a few tries but I just kept hitting "transfer" and it went through.

I did mine no problem on my 2014. Don't have a pic but it's fairly easy once drive is formatted correctly using instructions

I've tried every file format available and followed all of the instructions to the "t." Any suggestions would be much appreciated, the error I'm getting is "Unable to access the USB Flash Drive. Please check that it is properly connected." The thumb drive works perfect on my computer, I have a Mac and used the formatting listed in the instructions...

Hello everybody new to this place. i have a 2016 4runner and trying to change the start up image but the default image still shows for about 2 seconds in the beginning then my image pops up for a split second, and i mean its quick then the warning dialog shows. is there any way of not showing the default image and just show mine or a way to have mine image last longer than it does currently?

Old post, but since no one replied I will answer it now. It is NOT possible. The startup image only is designed to show for a second or two. If you want the image on there all the time, that is doable - set the image as "screen off image" and once the file is uploaded, turn the screen off (settings - > screen off). The screen will stay off all the time and the image will be displayed all the time that the screen is "off".

Is your thumb drive totally devoid of any other stuff, and file names correctly formatted with capital letters and lowercase letters exactly as in the manual?

I realized I was trying to copy out of the root and not the specified directories. Worked after that. Added 5 hp !

Same deal here. I am using a MacBook Pro and a 4g thumb drive, but get the same error message. I'm going to retry, but will use a bigger capacity thumb drive. Initially, I got an error message saying the file size was too big, so I used Preview to change the size to within the limit noted on the error message, but no joy.

Ghost, as I mentioned above, I just tried changing the two images a second time. This time I used the same folders, same images, but a different thumb drive. Instead of a 4g, I used a 16g and it worked just as explained in the directions. Not sure why, but I'll take it.

As an aside, it seems to me that the Entune instructions call for 4g thumb drives in several places. I've not been able to get the specific procedure to work with 4g drives; I have been successful doing the very same steps with a 16g drive. Just sayin'

on mine it's settings, then 'General" (not 'Home Screen" which would be the intuitive choice"), then scroll down.

The old instructions worked on my 19. The old instructions work very well the first screen is from my settings page. It is absolutely crucial that you correctly name the folders or the system will not recognize them.20200629_152405.jpg 20200629_152512.jpg 20200629_152543.jpg

I dont see the option on my 2020... Does the USB have to be connected for the option to appear?

So you don't have the same kind of settings screen? If you hit home, then hit Apps, do you have a button that says setup wiith a gear on it?

The layout is a bit different in the 2020's.
