    Stock...for now...
Others will chime in when it comes to the 4Runner but I had the same kit but for my Tacoma. It was the best suspension kit I’ve ever had. After getting Kings I always wondered if it was worth the money. After going through other kits I can say it is. Most people on here are going to tell you this kit will be amazing on and Offroad.

I am running Icon on my rig currently.
    My buddy has Kings.
We have the same weight added to our rigs and height on both rigs are set the same.
His rides way better on and off road.
My next set up will be Kings.

King Shocks 2.5 w/adjusters, Total Chaos uca, Icon 2" rear coil, Nitto Ridge Grapplers 285/70/17, Rigid D-Series amber fog lights, Morimoto HID & LED lights, Meso custom dome light.
i just recently installed a kit similar to this but i pieced it together myself; bought King shocks from Accutune, Total Chaos uca from Toytec, and Icon 2" rear coil from Amazon. I have pics here https://www.4runners.com/threads/lift-tires.10878/ very happy with this purchase and the ride quality on road; i'll be testing offroad this weekend. "buy once, cry once" haha

I went with Fox shocks. I'm happy with the ride and initial quality, but kind of wish I had spent the extra for King's. It does seem that everyone who has them is happy.

It seems that some complain about long term corrosion on Fox shocks. I plan to keep them coated and hope this doesn't happen to mine, we don't get that much road salt.

If you are considering options in the King price point, OME BP-51's are a good option as well. 3 year warranty as well IIRC. Either way you go, King and OME are up there in quality, and you will get your money's worth on and off road.

Thanks all of you on your input. But that set up seems a little expensive for what I will be doing. My runner hardly goes off road and when it does, it’s only dirt roads with water bars. No rock crawling or anything. I guess it’s considered more of a mall crawler. So here’s another question....

    http://iconvehicledynamics.com/shop...ta-4runner-0-35-suspension-system-stage1.html

with what I’ve mentioned above, only using my runner on logging roads and in some snow scenarios, would this kit be fine? If so, it would save me about $2,000...

I had Fox on my Tacoma and regret it after a few months and riding in my buddies Tacomas with Kings on. It didn't take long for me to find a good used set with adjusters... wow I won't go back ever! When I bought my 4Runner, it was a no brainer to get the Kings and with adjusters all around this time.
