The Runner was super reliable and served its time. Looking for a better ride as we get older. Thanks for letting me hang around and chime in on occasion.

Enjoy the Volvo! That's a good looking vehicle!

There's no reason you can't check in on the off-topic discussions. Or, check in on the bickering about the 6th gen for a good laugh now and then. :D

Eeeesh. Normally I like Volvo but I have heard of lackluster quality recently after being owned by the Geely company. I hope it serves you well though.

The Volvo is pretty sharp looking. Let us know how you like it through the months/years.

Making the switch from a Taco to 2023 ORP ... Dobinson IMS suspension with ~ 2" lift, chrome delete interior and exterior, slim line front bumper with winch install, misc. little mods.
You'll love the Volvo ... It's what my wife has and I love driving it around town and especially on road trips. Has been trouble and maintenance free going into year eight.

Enjoy the new ride. As said before come back any time to peruse. Maybe you’ll be back for good if another 4Runner enters your life.

Looks much better. You won't be mistaken for a 20 year old kid like the rest of us.

Same here, but instead of getting more responsible, I'm reversing it. Went from Lexus , Tundra, Tesla, to the the 4runner...next will be a 99 Honda civic. Pretty soon I'll be on a moped.

Good choice. I always liked Volvo's as well. The XC90 was my argument vehicle to my wife wanting a Q7 as her next. Volvo's usually had higher safety ratings. I hope you have many good years with it as well.

No reason to leave. I looked at the Volvo XC90 and just couldn't get past a couple of items but, otherwise, it was a nice ride.

Had a Volvo like this as a rental car a couple months ago. Comfortable ride and good power.

It has an interior air quality sensor that me and my buddies attempted to "test" after a particularly large dinner at a Mexican restaurant lol

Those Volvo XC90's are sharp looking rigs. Hope you guys get many safe and comfortable miles out of it.

Thank you for the positive words, that’s one reason I’ve been on this forum. We hope this Volvo treats us well. We have already talked about if we don’t like it in a few years we will be back to Toyota either in another Runner or a Sequoia. Keep up the great group you have here and I’ll neb around now and again.

Sorry, this just isn't credible. According to what I've read on this website, the 4 cylinder turbo couldn't possibly move a vehicle the size of an XC90, let alone survive the drive home before overheating and grenading.

Joking aside, nice ride OP, hope it works well for you. My FIL just got one last year as well, whole different world compared to Toyota in terms of finish quality and ride comfort.
