I was seriously interested in the new Land Cruiser, until I realized that the base price was $57k.

The new 4Runner has the same dimensions as the Land Cruiser, and the same 6000lb tow rating, and more aggressive styling.

Pricing not revealed, but I am seriously tempted by the new 4Runner. I am digging the Mudbath color, and if one could find a TrailRunner in the low $50ks, then I would have trouble turning one down.

You already know you're going to get one.

Might not be first year, but at some point, you will own one.

    Crazy eh.

I’m seriously considering a TRD Pro myself, but will have to see it in person. Not sure you’ll be able to find a Trailhunter in the low $50k. The current Pro starts at $55k and the Trailhunter is a higher trim.

yeah no way the trail is going to be lower than 60k in my guesstimate. prob 63-65k to keep it just under the LC250 68k price with prem pkg ($4600 option), roughly 63,500 w/o it.

Hate to be the bearer of bad news but they announced the TRD Pro Tacoma pricing at 65K which means the 4R pro and trail hunter will be 70K+ more than likely.

The Tacoma TRD pro is 65, trail hunter just under that. 4runners have historically been much more. Like someone else said, $70k for a trail hunter (at least).

either way i will be getting a platinum 4x4 HV version. after 11 yrs in my current limited (pushing 12 by the time i get a 6th gen), i am due for a new one.

i decided on my current one, i was actually going to use and enjoy the rear window down during drives. lets just say, i wouldnt advised it long term to always have the rear window down either in town or on the highway.

next one i will baby a little more interior wise.

with no car payments for almost 10 yrs, ive made strides on paying off a lot of bills to get a payment back on the budget for a new 4R. already set aside $700 a month payment and still be very comfortable.
