I am looking to convert my head unit to a CarPlay system. Which one is the best?

I think you can use one from the 2021 4runner and up.

Thank you! I’m gonna take a look at that and see if I can find one.

You can do that on all other trims. The JBL with separate amp makes it insanely expensive to use Entune 3.0. You need a whole new amp as well as the head unit and then also need a transplant harness that is well above the normal $250

I went aftermarket on my 2018 for carplay or android auto:

BTW it doesn't block my air vents either. It's great for wireless android auto or carplay
