$47,528 was the actual MSRP but they tried to get me to pay for the "standard" dealer add-ons like tint and door PPF. After negotiating the price I made them eat that too.

It was technically a demo but it only had 68 miles on it. Sales manager drove it home the night it was delivered then apparently grabbed a new Tundra the next day.

    Hello OP,
    where in TX are you?
    Im in DFW
I ordered a 2024 Terra TRD Pro at Freeman and paid MSRP, but Gulf States adds every port option...so $59K+
with the safe, paint pro package, LED lights, predator steps, even the $160 cargo organizer
Freeman was dealing with 4Runners already on the lot, if they had to trade or order it...MSRP was it
Salesman, without me asking, mentioned $5-$6K off limiteds
Other DFW dealers are adding 'packages' with door trim and nitrogen and asking $5K+ for TRD Pros

All the off roads and ORPs on the lot had the $3599 Offroad upgrade package, few had the premium package and
    fewer had sunroofs.

Did not go to Toyota of Fort Worth cause they adding markups on everything a year ago

    I'm located in Houston.
but see?? thats the problem right there!
those asshats will add 4-5K in port options and then the dealership will discount you 3-4K off making it seem like a "good deal".
I'm trying to get me a damn barebones model plus few thousand off MSRP. now that right there would be a GOOD DEAL.

Copied and Pasted from a thread I started a few weeks ago:

Taking delivery tomorrow!! Metallic black OR with crossbars, black wheel locks, TRD skid plate, black chrome lug nuts, TRD black wheels, and thank God, the owner's portfolio!

I think I got a really nice deal. MSRP was $44.3k, TSRP was $47.7k, plus $499 documentation = $48.2k total. But, there was $2.9k Lithia discount, they threw in the rubber floor mats and cargo mat and gave me a $300 discount on the lifetime oil change (net on that = $500), and with a further discount, got me out the door for a clean $45k for everything.

So that is a $48.2k TSRP + $300 floor mats + $800 lifetime oil change = $49.3k, and I got out the door for $45k.

You all make a solid argument for never buying a new Toyota from either of the two private distributors (Gulf States and SE Toyota.) They both add silly bloat at the port.

cheapest I saw on the lot was an SR5 for $45K+ of course loaded with port installed crap like $75 for iPhone chargers and roof bars for $279

Freeman only had 4x4's, other DFW dealers advertising 4x2's for cheap

it's been that way for a good amount of time.
pisses me off because distributors make the cost of these damn vehicles higher than they already are!

...or drive out of their geographic footprint and buy from the Toyota-owned distribution centers. You'd need to drive to Kansas to escape...

it doesn't seem to be working for them with the Tundra's...
They had one right in the front door for $80K sticker...
They have .9% interest on Tundras and willing to deal on any Tundra except the Pro...
Tundras were stacked 3 deep, maybe some folks don't want to pay $80K+ for a V-6 pickup

I saw a few in my town and there were not two strait panel lines on them. The gaps are comical even the pin striping on one was off by 1/16 inch. They are not made in Japan I guess. Poor quality. One even had a cracked bed liner and no price drop...

I hear ya! Since I'm planning on driving this thing 15-20 years I wanted it exactly how I wanted it instead of settling for something else to save a couple thousand. It's worth it in the long run!

You guys are getting good deals. When I bought my Pro in the winter of 2022 dealers where still charging 10k markups on almost every trim, even worse for Pros with long waiting lists. I just got extraordinarily lucky and stumbled on one in December that a buyer had backed out on and they where motivated to move before xmas for MSRP.

BTW, if you want to compare with other forum members make sure to share just the base purchase price (and specify if its including destination charge or not). Doc fees, title and license , sales taxes etc all vary significantly state to state.

My ‘24 TRD ORP was just under $48k ish base price. It ended up being $50k out the door. No KDSS, has moonroof. I was able to get it with most of the add-ons taken off. I think the interior LEDs and extra USB ports were non negotiable.

A buddy of mine picked up a 2024 TRD ORP for 55k about a month ago. Price wasn't horrible all things considered. 8% interest is insane though...

That's what I told em. Instead of refinancing he pulled from savings and paid that shit off the next day. Gangster move...
Made me jealous lol I still owe 19k on my 2022.

He is a man after my own heart ;) Ive done that on occasion as well - I sometimes talk them into giving me a lower price by offering to take their financing... then the F&I guy begs me not to refi too soon with scare stories of how my title will get lost or something. And then I do it anyway. And there has never been one issue... heck they never even remember when I come back to buy another vehicle in a few years.

My wife's Piilot we bought, financed and then immediately paid off. The 4Runner I'm still carrying the loan because we spent all the ready cash on a big renovation last summer and I found a credit union that would give me 3.4% (in Dec 22!!!!!) :santa2::santa2::santa2::santa2::santa2::santa2:

Very nice. I got in good with 2.99% with a similar strategy. So I can't be mad about it.
I'll keep modifying the bank's rig for the next couple years till I get that title
