newbie looking for advice

    Hey Everyone,

    New 2024 4Runner Limited owner here and I had a question hoping someone can help me with, because the parts counter guys at my local dealer aren't helpful at all.

    I purchased a set of hem mud flaps, part number
    $88 pt769-89110
    pt769-89110. The set of 4 flaps came with an instruction sheet that included a bunch of info to the point where one paragraph discussed conflicts with installation.

    there are 3 conflicts. A ground effects kit, auto retracting running boards which are a factory option and finally gem running boards part number pt925-89100.

    These are the factory running boards that I'd hoped to install once I got the $650 the dealer wants, but I'm Leary now, and when I called the dealer and talked to the parts guys, they were clueless.

    I'd appreciate any info/advice anyone could give me.

    I'm new to the 5th gen 4Runner and this board, but been buying 4Runner parts for 20 years...

    Look at Toyota dealers online stores, prices are cheaper than walk in and no sales tax if shipped out of state.
