Hey, I tried putting a small leveling kit on, and cracked the xreas line (front driver) not knowing what it was. Immediately closed it but fluid shot out under pressure. Now it shakes under deceleration. Put everything back to stock to figure out what happened and get info as soon as it happened. Anyone know how to recharge it or what to do?

Ruh roh... Welcome to the forum. You should use the "Search" function at the upper right. Just entering XREAS will get you a ton of information, but adding a couple of keywords with XREAS should help you narrow down the search. I don't have XREAS on my truck, but plenty of others here do. Someone will chime in.

Welcome. It’s a sealed system and AFAIK it has to be recharged by the dealer. If the line or shock is damaged, it will have to be replaced before the system can be serviced. For the cost, you’re better off changing the entire suspension out for some Bilsteins or something.

No idea about recharging but it can be replaced with any shock fits 5th gen 4runner, can be replaced not only at Toyota dealership, can be replaced with any 4x4shop.

Yeah. You're fooked if you want to fix that system (unless you have a boatload of money). IIRC to fix/replace the XREAS system is $3K-$4K. You're better off just getting rid of it and installing a proper (traditional) suspension system. It's gonna leak at some point anyway. Mine started leaking at 150,000 miles. Too bad your 4R is so new. Drive as little as possible under the current condition. It's now a safety issue.

I’m going to say the 2 are not related. I say this because these runners shake just to shake.

If only a little bit of fluid came out then at worst you lost some dampening ability.

OP, when you say "cracked the Xreas line", is that like cracked open, like loosened a fitting, or cracked as in broke the line? Huge difference.

Even if some fluid leaked out should there be vibration? That seems odd. I can see a bigger nosedive under braking, more sway in turns but, vibration is not usually what owners with leaking Xreas complain about.
