Anybody know what these wires are? It was just sitting behind the aftermarket head unit that came with the car. It wasn’t plugged into anything.

Not exactly sure in your case but I just installed an Alpine head unit in my son's 06' Sport, which had the original stereo unit, and with the after-market head units, there will be several wires that are not used for various things that your trim might not have. Also, Toyota used 1 wiring harness for all trims of a particular model so his stock harness had some unused wires/connectors that were needed for the Limited trim but not his ...they were just hanging since he has the Sport. Same deal with my Tundra. In your case, you could look up the wiring harness that came with your model head unit and see what those colored wires are used for but seeing that they are zip-tied together with the sheathing on each wire not cut back, it's safe to assume they are for features not used in your trim.
