I was wondering, I just got my winter wheels.. steel rims without the tpms, I was wondering , when I will install them, I assume the tire pressure light will come on. Will it stays on all the time, or I can shut it off? On my 2016 VW golf I was able to trick the light off, and set it back on with my summer wheels. Can the same be done with the 4runner?

Good question! I'll bet someone around here knows the answer. I just ignore it all summer while I have my MT's on. But, shutting it off would be nice.

i know there's a way to turn the light off permanently, but i haven't heard of anything on the T4R of "tricking" the tpms receiver to not trigger.
Paying close attention to see also.
