I’m wondering if anyone has put a new dishwasher (24”), in the box, into a 4Runner? With the back seats still up? I don’t have the third row or the slider.

Reason I ask is I don’t trust my F-350, I need to replace the thermostat in it. So taking the 4Runner 70 miles will help me out. Thank you!

edit: also keeping the second row seats up to take the family to do something also without folding seats down. Killing 2 birds etc.

Yes, my dishwasher (standard size) fit standing up right with second row still in place. No third row.

Thank you! This has been a big help. My wife has hidden my tape, and I have to drive up to Denver to pick up the last one, (with a disposal built in).

You could make sure by calling and getting the dimensions of the box, and using something like a ruler or an 11" piece of paper to measure your truck (if you don't have a tape). I personally wouldn't take such a trip without doing that.

My wife and daughter are always stealing mine too. I buy a new one every time I'm in Home Depot. Then they reappear and I have 6 of them now!
Yes my samsung dishwasher fits in the cargo area ....just dont try that with a fridge, though a mini fridge fits just fine, for tailgating, or overlanding.

So it fit great, however I had to place it on the side. It was about 1/2 inch short for the ceiling. I didn’t want to screw up the headliner. This is a GE 24” standard dishwasher (with the phirana hard food chopper). Thanks for the help!

I have 2 ARB Zeros 73 quart, one takes up the whole back of a 4Runner, they are handy for family day trips though.

I was going to use this to convince the wife we should add a 4Runner back to the drive way. I mean how could we go wrong, vehicle to take off road, family trips and do the dishes all at the same time.

I guess I’ll have to wait to see where folks store the water tank.

That's in the trailer, along with the portable wastewater treatment plant, so you can keep using the same water.

See I knew this would get worked out. Now to sell it to the wife. Maybe I’ll take her shopping and buy a new dishwasher and then explain the need for a 4Runner and trailer.
