You don’t need a diff drop kit.

What @Dark Knight said. It’s not needed. I’m running OME on my ;R and don’t have a diff drop. I put a diff drop on my old 2003 Tacoma and after driving it two miles I turned around and took it off. It introduced vibrations and a rhythmic humming.

Here's another with no differential drop. CV boots look great after 50k miles, no noise coming from the axles.

I actually have a diff drop kit that I got from Wheelers. I am not going to use it. If you want it let me know.

Also a negative here on diff drop or any issues from not having one. 2.5" front.

    UPDATE

Went to the shop that did the work and we took measurements. He didn't think i'd need one, so i'm good. Here's a question. What springs are you guys running in the rear? I'm going with the BP-51 suspension, but the medium springs lift the back 3 inches, which is too high for me. I want 1.5 max.

I have OME 8295's in the back which lifted it about 3 inches but I plan on carrying 3-500 pounds on a daily basis. Even empty the springs ride pretty good. Once I get the load on them they will be even better and it will probably drop them to 2 inches or a little less. So as a reminder, don't forget to factor in how you will be using your 4 before deciding on springs.

I went with t-13's. 90% of the time i'm at stock weight. I think this will work out fine. But if not, I can just upgrade.

Toytec super flex rear springs have done well for me. About 2” lift, ride well as stock rear weight, and tow my 18’ boat well.
