Wow, that's the price of a dual channel Blackvue 4K dash cam with Stavis2 sensor with 64gb memory.

I know someone who has the Toyota Dash Cam on their new LC ... problems, problems and also confusing to use .... looks cool though ... lol

FWIW ... I have had 3 VanTrue Dash Cams and they are fantastic.

The VanTrue N4 Pro is on sale now and it is a super 3 channel cam.

I think the $499 is the estimated installed price at a dealer. The part cost is $270 at Olathe Toyota: https://parts.olathetoyota.com/oem-parts/toyota-interior-integrated-dash-camera-pt94908231

Of course, there's no guarantee this P/N will be plug & play with 6th gen.

    Fitcam, check out the website.
Probably the most universally made for every model car out there that is stealth and you do not see the camera on the windshield it is a plug and play. No smash and grab here.

I put one in my RAV4 and you don't even know it is there. They do have one for the 6th gen, but I do not have that. But these are all reported to just be plug and play with very simple function as when you turn the car on they start recording in small increments of 1 MB and if you have a crash or an impact it will capture that file.

I just installed a Fitcamx camera in the front of my 2025 TRD Sport and it works great! The recorded view is awesome and the installation looks like it was factory done. I would not recommend getting the rear camera for a 4Runner because the company recommends attaching it to the rear window. I contacted customer support and told them that all 4Runners have a rear window that moves up & down. They are sending me a different mounting bracket so I will wait to see what I receive but I have my doubts.

On a side note, I was thinking to buy this Viofo 3ch camera where the fisheye lens on the cabin camera seem to cover the side. VotexRadar youtube also had a good review on this. The only thing stop me was thinking "ok if someone hit me from side at parking what happens? End of the day my insurance will fix it and even though I'm not at fault they will still increase the premium. "

When my Venza was hit at the parking lot I don't think the door that was replaced is new. I also don't trust the paint to be at good quality as factory even though it was repaired at a Honda dealership bodyshop. So is it worth to spend $$$?
