Who are the old farts around here (and willing to admit it)

AF day was interesting, I thought I made it through the day but at 2330 my Wife wakes me up and says "Your truck horn keeps beeping about every 2 seconds. I was in one of those 'Don't F with me moods" The truck horn was beeping, and my lights were flashing and it would not start. Too late in the evening to troubleshoot so I disconnected the negative battery terminal. I'm suspecting the FOB is malfunctioning. The day after AF is not going well! The bright side, I have A/C and hot coffee

 

I hate it when that stuff happens...especially at o'dark thirty! Hope it's a big nothing more than a simple reset!!

 

Morning old people, here I am again. Today I'll be washing the 2011. I hand wash and dry, and take my time, No need to rush. Y'all have a safe and blessed day.

 

'Morning! Good news.. as far as me having to 'salt' parking lots and the entire industrial park, it didn't happen. The temps were at the point where rain was freezing on trees and vehicles, powerlines etc., but the roads and other paved surfaces and gravel roads carried enough heat to actually stay thawed out from our previous warm spell. Temps in the mid 30's for morning, today's high in the 40's, lookin' good. Today off work, pickup the son-in-laws Matco truck and deliver to him (had alignment done), lunch with the wife, life is good! Hope you guys have a great Friday, catch ya later.. See Ya

Rainy and raw day today, honey has the day off - WooHoo so maybe an out to lunch day today (I'm usually out -to-lunch) Ha! Gonna keep it mellow and do a wee bit of car maintenance on her Mazda and then the NCAA playoffs! Cheers y'all and sure hope you have a really fine day whereever you are! ENJOY

All good here. The key FOBs have new batteries and jumped her off and she is ready to roll! That was an interesting evening and morning.

 

Morning old people, made it here this Saturday. Will be heading out to watch my Grandson play soccer in a little bit. He's six years old and will be seven in a couple of weeks. He loves soccer and watches it on TV whenever he can. Y'all have a safe and blessed day.

Good Morning, bright sunny day I may just begin the process of putting (I know!) winter equipment away for the season and get the "fair weather equipment" out and fired up today....maybe! JET4 nice to see the G'kids play sports and have a good time! My grandson had his first H.S. baseball game yesterday. He got to play the whole game (1st base) got a couple hits and struck out a couple times, bur hit some impressive foul balls! He said he "had fun!" and to me that is what is all about. The women lost yesterday and we'll see how the UConn men do tonight. Keep warm (not hot!) and safe....ENJOY

 

'Morning OF's, rainy, drizzle.. one of those days. The animals outside don't seem to mind, about 20 deer in the yard just happy to have made it through winter! As much as I enjoy eating venison.. I kind of like watching them doing their thing now days, must be getting old! The shop is calling for an annual cleanout/straightening, might get to it today. Easter is upon us, Grandkids love the Easter egg hunt (154 plastic eggs with candy prizes inside), don't forget to wear boots it's wet out. Have a great day guys! See Ya

Enjoying Easter in NC this year. Visiting kids and grandkids. Back to Michigan soon though. Have a nice holiday everyone.

 

'Morning.. Everybody have a good Easter? Hope so, it was nice going to church, spending some time with family, seeing the neighbors, etc. I think that the WSO that was rescued was a great thing, hoping he recovers soon. Weather is nothing out of the norm for this time of year, lawn is starting to green... some, birds are building, just think.. another month the garden will be in, a bit of maintenance on the yard care equipment, it's all good, great to be 'above the dirt line'. I was sent on a mission to pickup a clawfoot bathtub and she looked at the picture and said “that is perfect”. I drove for an hour and a half to pick this thing up and made a stop to blast some slugs out of my 870 pump. I got home and discovered, I should have taken a picture before I drove home. They are not the same color of red.
