Wheels are Black Rhino Sidewinders, 17x9 +12. BFG KO2 275/70r17. Have 1.25" Spidertrax installed for an effective offset of -19.75 mm.

Front is leveled (~2") using Fat Bob's Garage adjustable coilovers. Rear is stock height with Bilstein 5100 for firmer ride.

Super awesome rig! I couldn't help but notice you don't have the normal NV hub cap. It looks so much better than the normal one and I was wondering where I could get something like this?

So even at 2” lift front, the 275/70/17 still rubs?

It's because of my negative offset. It did rub before some trimming and molding.

Most likely not without some slight trimming.

    Waiting for your opinions...
Just added a Runner to the family. It's the wife's so it will be a mild build for now. I've had two Tacomas and Just convinced her to trade the Camry in on this beauty. She is wanting different wheels already so I was wondering if anyone has any pics of a black 4Runner with aftermarket wheels. Thanks in advance!

My wife picked up her new TRD premium last Saturday and I’ve got new 20” wheels arriving by Fedex any day. Hers is magnetic grey so kinda close to black. I’ll post up pics once i get the lift and nee tires & wheels installed.

    Just don't do BRO wheels!

Bronze and gunmetal both look amazing on black. Plus they're legit.

Congrats on the new truck, I look forward to seeing what you do with it!

So, the point of this thread is really to show pictures of different wheel and suspension setups, with details specs, so people can browse and get an idea of what they're looking for.

Recently I changed tires and removed my spacers. My lift has also changed.

Dobinson's shocks and coils all around - 3/2 effective lift.

Still running Black Rhino Warlords 17x9 +12

    Tires are Patagonia Milestar 295/70r17

Fitment required BMC, front fender trim (just slightly), spat removal, and I remolded my fender liners with a heat gun. Now it can fully articulate without any rubbing. If the offset was more positive I'd be hitting the UCA, I could probably go slightly more negative without contacting the front fender pinch weld. I might move up to a +0 wheel at some point in the near future.

Sorry for the horrible picture.. I'm crippled right now and haven't been able to get out as much as I'd like. I'll be hitting the trails hard this summer and fall to make up for it.

I’ve worked on vehicles my whole life but never heard the term “spat”. Forgive my ignorance and enlighten me.
    Also
I understand BMC means body mount chop however, is it pretty extensive on these vehicles? I dread the idea of having to cut, grind, and weld on a brand new ride.

The front mudguards or spats... I may be misspeaking, but it's not a full mud flap. Toyota parts guy referred to it as a spat when I first removed them.

It's not extensive. Pretty positive you're going to have to do this with your wheel and tire set up, but you might get lucky or you could always avoid full wheel lock when turning (especially in reverse).

Well that spats will come off if need be. I don’t like the looks of them anyways.
Man I sure hope no chopping is needed. IIRC i seen someone selling prefabbed cutouts for the BM.

I'm pretty sure a few companies do - I think Relentless Fabrication and Rago do, among a few others.

We just used some 3/16 steel plate and fabbed some for mine, welded them on and rust proofed them. It doesn't impact the integrity of the vehicle whatsoever.

I've got less than 1000 miles on them right now, but so far they're great. They feel fantastic on the road, I've got some minimal offroad with them and so far they seem great. Definitely an MT tire and you hear them on the highway, but they are firm and feel connected to the road in a way I really like.

I should have some time with them on trails over the summer and fall and will report back with my experience then too.

My wife’s sister and her husband were trying to talk my wife into bronze wheels. She didn’t bite tho. I personally don’t like the looks of bronze wheels. She opted for red and black wheels. I’m not a fan of those either. Lol
