    My wife keeps asking me what all she can plug into her 110 outlet. I jeep telling her anything that doesn’t exceed 400 watts. So now the questions are: “will a hair dryer work” “how about an ice cream maker”? Ugh!

    Not sure how up to speed you are on electrical know how but...

    A good formula to remember is PIE

    P is Power in Watts
    I is current in amps
    E is voltage

    Power = Current x voltage.

    Or P/I=E
    Or P/E=I

    400/120=3.33

    So, anything that doesn’t draw more than 3.33 amps should work but if it’s 3.33 amp I’d keep an eye on it to make sure the investor doesn’t overheat.

    Plus, my fridge is hardwired directly to the Blue Sea fuse block under the hood

    I love traveling and especially road trips but the wifey and kids hate being couped up in a car. They prefer air or ship for most adventures.

    My internal surfboard rack. Saves me a lot of space inside and I don't have to worry about boards strapped on top of the roof when I'm away from it.

    @Backslider

    My fishing rod rack! I used a rod saver setup from bass pro shops. I cut the ends off and glued it to pieces of aluminum i bought at Home Depot. I cut and bent the aluminum to fit in the existing hangers on the sides of the roof.

    I can't imagine going anywhere without fishing rods in the summer. I like to have them in the car at all times.

    I idolized Les Claypool when I started out. Still one of the coolest, most unique bass players I've ever heard. Primus had a lot of songs that required the 6 string.

    Then I inherited $5K and spent most of it on that bass. It's an amazing instrument and worth every penny.

    What do you play?

    That's cool. I picked it up in '95 and got into them shortly after. Went to 2 shows for the punch bowl tour, and probably 5-6 other shows.

    Many bands came and went. Some serious, some just for shits and grins.

    Many good times!

    :cheers:

    While I do enjoy a good fish fry, i mostly fish catch and release. I enjoy the scenery and the relaxation:cool:

    Isn’t that a gar? Noticed the head shape. And that catfish doesn’t have spots may be a Blue?

    The bass? Funny thing is, it all came down to time of year and the right lake. I'm in Wisconsin, so REAL 6+ lb bass are special fish, IMO. In 2 seasons I caught 7 fish between 6.2-7# all in mid October. That's after 15+ years of never catching one over 5#.

    Sorry to OP for thread derailment.
