Thank you Mr. Snuffleupagus. The person later commented that his garage opener is old. He was able to program an aftermarket clip on remote but not the homelink. My garage door is also old and I didn't get the correct remote when I bought the house. I just went to local hardware store and bought aftermarket remote. So not sure exactly why he was not able to program homelink but able to program clip on remote, wish I could help.

 

Keep us updated on how the install goes! I have had this bumper open in my web browser for month, but haven't been able to find a close-up of the "bumper cut" to make me feel good about buying it haha

 

ROF will now be shipping these out including I suspect Canada but just give them a call. They have been good to work with!

 

They had detailed install instructions on the site with the needed measurements but now I cant seem to find them. I do have a copy downloaded but I also know they were tweaking and fine tuning things before shipping so maybe they are making mods to the instructions

I had a 16 Taco and the garage door opener wasn't compatible the built in Homelink. Found this "bridge" and it helped.

Fast forward a year ago, had to get new door and opener and no longer needed with my 4runner.

 

Yeah I saw the close-up picture on their site, but I would like to see more of a "process" series of pictures. I am just curious how they cut that particular point in the bumper because its definitely not flat. I do see they have some black rubber trimming around the cut-out so that would help.

 

splurged on the dash for black friday. Some AC knobs from AJT.

 

I bought my 4R back in 2021 and didn't do anything to it other than regular maintenance as I have had two other cars so I used this one as just a grocery getter. Now that I sold off one of my other cars I've been driving the 4R everywhere and decided it will be my only car for the next few years so I wanted to make it look the way I want it to. I didn't get any mods really other than the front "TOYOTA" emblem replacement which makes a huge difference. I also blacked everything out by removing and painting (it was a hassle but well worth it). And finally, I had the wheels powdercoated gloss black. I've purchased a leveling spacer kit but haven't installed that yet.

In addition to this, I managed to flush every single fluid and replaced the spark plugs, PCV and coolant thermostat so I can make sure it continues to run fine for another 100K miles at least.

 

Waiting for Brite box anytime. Used it to bring Xmas tree home!

well i ordered a skid plate for 160 bucks... and turns out it doesnt fit?! ..

now why doesnt it fit? because i have KDSS!! LOL no clue that i even had it.. time to bust out the angle grinder.. and cut some things per this youtube video i found

was on the verge of returning it but i think its a good deal and shouldnt be too bad to cut off some aluminium to save on weight hehe

If you just noticed you have KDSS, do yourself a favour and use this website's Search feature for threads on KDSS maintenance. I have KDSS, there are things I wish I knew

 

Does anyone know if the upper grille portion from 2014-2019 would fit a 2023, or if there are any aftermarket options? I'm looking to swap the "strip grille" for the diamond pattern so it matches the lower portion, but I still want the emblem so I'm not interested in a Pro grille kit.

 

Ordered these two, Rigid and IronMan($1,100 in total). I feel top heavy with the rack and tire on top, and I am lifted, don't wanna die.

I have a 6.0 hp Pressure washer I used 1 maybe twice in spring to clean off the deck. How do you like that Sunjoe. Is good for deck ,railings & occasional Cement side walk work??

 

Hey Kevin, It’s great for the vehicle. Not so much on our deck. We have trex decking flooring and it not really enough power. I think I had before was a husky and it was more powerful on the deck. The sun Joe is good on our poured concrete on the walkway. But I like the power for the vehicles because it’s not over kill. I also bought one of these on line first time using it. Worked great. Hook it on the pressure washer and roll it under the vehicle.

 

I have a Craftsman W/Honda eng. 6.0hp works great on deck, sidewalk . Just saw yours & was curious. Thanks!

 

Added the AJT climate knobs and red anodized screws to match with the red seat stitching.
