Finished with the Eylar cases to store (1) First Aid kit; (2) my Recovery gear; and (3) Misc. tools (air pump, battery cables, fire extinguisher, etc.)=all mounted in the roof basket with bungees, cargo net, locks, and bike heavy duty bike cables.

Today, I program a couple of sites into the Navigation system using coordinates, instead of addresses. Install my gun case with bike cable ad padlocks for when I go through Cali (I have CCW permits for all the other states we'll go through on our vacations).

What kind of Wrap? What are you replacing the Predator steps with? why didn't you like them? I like them better then my OEM running boards.

Easy instal. That include the inserts that install in the factory holes, and the screws. 5 minutes you are done.

They call a track pack wrap which they do the most. The whole front nose of the vehicle and side mirrors and pillars and so much up the bottom of the doors and quarter panels. When I bring it in if there is any other area I would like it can be done. Nice thing since the 4runner mudflap run your paint off over time they will remove them and then they will be put over the wrap area. Also paint correction where needed and ceramic coat. Warranty for 10 years and he wants you to come back every year and make sure it’s still good and no issues.
I had my 19 C7 Z06 fully wrapped when I bought it and love it. It’s black so no scratches or swirls marks.
Predator steps sit to low. That’s why I don’t like them. I don’t off road so going what I had on my 17 and 20 4runner Pro’s. Tyger Star steps. Love them and really prevent door dings and the finish is really good no rust or dings. They use like a spray in bed liner finish.

Rotated tires today and finally finished rinsing out the rest of the mud/silt from my recent trip. This was my third time rinsing out my undercarriage and frame rails. The stuff hides in there! Lol

That's really nice work! I'm too lazy to break out the fiberglass and vinyl again.

Swapped in a black FJ knob after shortening it considerably to clear the console trim panel.

Thanks. A shop did the build and install. I've never done it myself (although one installer let me help build some dash pod molds once). Ahh the old car audio days.

I like how low that shift knob sits. All the others seem to stick way up, with a lot of the shifter rod showing.

Adding these today and my Cali raised cat protection. Had these before hope the finish holds up like they did before. Heard numerous times rocks hitting them and no chips in the finish or rust. IMG_4573.jpg

I'm just looking now. depending on my Co decision to let me continue to work remotely by Dec. has a lot to do W/it. My 2018 TRD OR has 63,220 mi on it now. I will get serious after Dec & depending if I have to start commuting again. But that's too far for me. Heck I'm flying to KMCI 9-Oct for work that week.

2 little add on I put the carbon shifter to match my console. In person it’s spot on. Just the way the pic is taken looks different. Also added my chalk bag. And Tyger star steps. Never got my Cali raised cat protection on. To many other things going on. IMG_4575.jpg

I know it sounds lame but I never have done my own work before. I changed the engine oil, differentials oil, transfer case oil, and greased the spiders and slip yokes. Now at least I know it's done correctly and all at the same time stamp.

did most of a front brake job...
no noise or other issues but I have a little over 77k on the odometer and we tend to drive a lot in our family (split between the 4Runner and my wifes Subie) . had a slow weekend so I figured I'd do brakes now vs finding out that I 'had to' do it when I was crunched for time.
Interestingly, when I got the old pads off, still had a hair under 6mm all on the old pads.
Drivers side went ok, but the caliper mounting bolts would not budge despite a little hammering on the breaker bar, adding a 3 foot cheater and several hours bathed in PB Blaster. got the new pads in on that side....if I can't get the bolts to budge tomorrow, guess I'll hike my skirt and take it to a shop to get the caliper off and rotor changed.

Hope your csf works great! Mine leaked from day one. I’d love an improvement on the radiator but anxious about trying another one.

Canvasbacks for the rear (courtesy of pasr519, thank you very much!) and a Ranger shift know from Tinkerer Design. This shift knob is so cool and the quality is fantastic. Cannot say enough good things about it. Well worth the money, IMHO!

That can be a really tough bolt.

Broke a couple of wrenches on it myself.

It finally came loose for me somehow.......not sure exactly how.

Time for the first PM, no more dealership 10k oil changes. Adding the metal housing just because. Not pictured: WIX air filter and rear 5100s to match the front.

I ordered a single "genuine" filter before taking delivery and it arrived smashed in a plastic baggie.
