    I really like these https://www.stahlbus-us.com/oil-dra...alve-m12x15x12mm-steel-set-with-retainer.html

Takes a minute to drain but I always have something else in the shop to do while I wait. The hose just clips in and opens the valve at the same time and makes it super easy. I just put the end in one of my 5 gallon oil buckets but a gallon jug would work too.

The NAPA's in our area don't do heating oil's but they're more pricey than the other chain stores.
My neighbor relies on NAPA for her business so when she wants me to pickup some items for her, it's on an account and I don't see any prices.
But in their defense, they've got a lot of stuff that her business needs and it's like a candy store to me.

I feel like if I want what I need I HAVE to go in store to get it. If I have them pull it for someone else to pick up it's always wrong.

Kitty litter containers work pretty well too. I have one with a big screw on lid that makes it easy to pour into.

Her and NAPA go way back to when her Parents did business with them. She is a beautiful woman that I would describe as a, Tomboy with a nice manicure. And her German Shepherd likes me too.

You should have 6.5 qts W/filter change, not quite following the 5gal? I just that use 5 gal then finish in the other 2 qts bottles, except on the 1st change cause I still have that dam 1/2 qt of new oil for next change. I hate that the engineers do that make it 6 or 7 even !! The good thing W/bottles you can actually see when you ad 1/2 qt vs guessing in the earlier metal qts!

Congratulations Blue! Install looks perfect! I see you went with the maximum clearance option too! Curious about the trailer plug location, on mine its completely recessed, is this a new option?

I've got a bunch of 5 gallon buckets for wast oil, running a farm we have a lot of it. They're easy to use and dump. Oil is mobile 1 quarters and I need to figure out what to do with 100 empty bottles.

I actually haven't even notice this. I guess having this recessed makes sense so that you don't hit it and everything is tight there. Oh well, will see.....I don't tow anything anyway...will see if it creates any problems. I'm just glad we got this thing done. So long waiting for this bumper, I almost forgot about it.

There must be a valid reason for redesigning that section of the bumper, perhaps folks wanted easier access or maybe it's designed to give way in the event of a strike? :notsure:

Nevertheless, glad to hear your wait is over! Looking forward to your writeup!

    I'm an idiot.......
So alledgily...... I may have hooked up the cables wrong, the jury is still out.
But the door works now and I will try to get some photos of the remedy this weekend.

Sigh, those pictures makes me sad. I used to love stopping at Yosemite when passing through that part of California. But now that it costs almost $300 for my family for a single visit or $240/annual pass as a foreign tourist to enter, I just can't justify stopping :(

Not something I did to my 5th gen with Nokian outpost NAT, but word of caution if you are running Nokian NATs, a post I saw on FB.
