My 2024 TRD-ORP received today a new C4 metal bumper with bull-bar, a LED light bar, and a 10k lbs Warn wench. All in all, I'm very pleased with the bumper, light-bar,
    and wench.

    PSA,
If you have a Fitcam dash cam please check if it's recording or not as much often as you can. I just realized mine was not recording since Dec19th. I see few corrupted files and it had stop afterwards. No warning sound or any visual to notify there's a problem.

I really regret my choice buying Fitcam. Should have bought a reliable dashcam from many other brands. I was trying to get some pics of the GX470 with skinny tires yesterday and realized the dashcam is not recording.

What memory card are you using? It could be at fault and not the camera itself?

I'm using the card came with the camera.
Maybe I should try to get something like Sandisk High Endurance card.

Yeah....I never trust any 'generic' memory card supplied with any of the electronics I've ever purchased. I generally use cards from Sandisk, the current one I have in my dashcam is the Sandisk Extreme Pro. That said, I did have a couple of instances (over the course of a couple years) of file corruption so it may be time I do a wipe and reformat of the card. This comes after several hundred gigs of r/w cycles so it's possible that a bit or so went into the ether. Maybe I can try running a scan on the card later and see if anything pops up.

I think Extreme series are for action cameras. For dashcam and security cameras you need to use High endurance / Max endurance cards.

I'll have to read up on what makes those different from the extreme. It was a spare I had from my photo gearbag.

Not today, but earlier in the week had my front lift lowered from 2.7" to 2" and the SPC's replaced with Dobinsons. Seems 2" is the sweet spot for lift while not overly stressing angles, KDSS, etc. And yes, the SPC's were already bad and only had maybe 9500 miles on them, all on road. Mine were the last iteration, not their latest offering. I traded them for some of the labor and the tech was going to warranty them and try them on his 4Runner.

That's an interesting idea for how to utilize that space, and it's cheaper than the one I bought. I saved it to my wish list in case mine doesn't workout for some reason.

I installed this flag thingy on the grill. I have no idea what they're called, normally you see them in the TRD racing colors, but mine is like an American flag. Why? Because Merica'! Thingymuhbob.jpg

Drove mine to the World Baseball Classic game in Houston last night, USA vs. Brazil. Traffic was ass but I expected that on a Friday night. 45 minute drive took 2 hours and 10 minutes. Left early enough though and going again tonight, USA vs. Great Britain.

I gently cleaned the engine bay of my mall crawler :D.

I am not a big fan of blasting water on the engine bay and all electrical components. What I do is basically blow gently air around with a hose or vacuum cleaner type. That gets all the easy dust out. Then I go with an old rag and a little bit of purple cleaner to remove all the mud or spills that I have made and just get in there slowly and done. 30 min job for a slow guy like me :turtleride:.
