I installed this thing. I'm constantly bitching about the lack of useable storage space in the 4R, and I saw this on YouTube and figured I'd give it a try. It's not a perfect fit, the access panel is flat, but the space it's covering is a bit curved. The material it's made of is flexible, so I have to flex the panel into place to get it to latch. I'm kinda hoping it will take a set to that shape when it gets hot in the vehicle, but I'm not sure what it's made of and if it will get hot enough. Anyway, I guess I'll see how it holds up with time.

80K mile oil change and all brake pads changed. Brakes are pretty easy on these thankfully (not in the rust belt)

Strange. Most every post I've read beside yours is usually raving about those covers, and I don't remember any fitment issues mentioned. Different manufacturer?

I had my buddies shop do it along with an alignment. Heard it was a bit of a pain to get around the UCA. Tires are 265/70/17 Goodyear DuraTrac.

Really like it the look as it sits.

I just installed a 2/1” Cornfed lift, less than 3 hours. They have a great video showing the process. Good jackstands and two floor jacks made it surprisingly easy, and the second floor jack wasn’t really needed.IMG_6684.jpg

Installed the C4 fender liners. When I moved to 35” tires, I had to cut back my fenders, which meant I lost the stock fender liner as well. The install took 4 hours since I also had to cut down the fender liner because my pinch weld was bent to the outside and the c4 install expects to bend to the inside. I prefer the outside.

I did not use their bottom fender attachment since I already had a solution there. I will reconsider and see if I want to move to the C4 configuration. I like it, but I also like my current solution.
You can see my fender/fender flare end cap in the first pic.

I didn't do any research into it before buying, I bought based only on the video and haven't read any reviews on it. I bought it from the guy installing it in the video, he said it's his design, so I'm guessing it's the same guy and I'm just being a diva. lol

Maybe this weekend I'll make a video of myself placing the cover on and show what I mean about the fit.

I like your descriptions! Katemcy is awesome and I love the people. I was a member of the LSLC club for over a decade before I moved. I haven't been to Barnwell Mt. in a long time! The Jamboree is tempting! The timing doesnt work since i have to drive from Oregon... I will be in Moab 2 weeks earlier...

    Come play in Katemcy!

That’s the one I thought you were referring to, but didn’t want to assume. No, there are 2 in the box that must be soldered in.

I had to get my buddy to solder on the bass blockers on my infinity’s, I know my limits. But man, once installed, those were a huge upgrade.

What they said. I installed the speakers without even noticing they were included, as they were in a separate area of the styrofoam packaging. Once I discovered they were there I asked about them, and the consensus was they protect the speakers, so I took the speakers back out and added those to the + wire in the harness.

made me think I should probably clean up the random storage solutions found along the way. In the Knowledge Sharing document is a section "random interior bits; storage cubby"
I consolidated the creative storage solutions

the above solutions mostly focus on the rear cargo area (no 3rd row seating) .. but there is also a section for the center console "center console related"; and if you search the sheet for "storage" you will currently find 50 random mentions upload_2026-3-5_6-22-45.png
