If you do not mind estimating and sharing, how much weight is total amount of product you used? I know most of this stuff is dense.

that’s up to you, but I know for inspection purposes in Pennsylvania I wanted it covered up and looking almost “factory”.

I want to say between 150lbs and 180lbs total. Probably the high end for me because we used a lot in the back side and inside the doors. The weight increase is there for sure. But man the noise reduction for me is on the tires. I didn't think this was going to be the case but it is considerable IMO.

Gives me the heebie jeebies to think about taking everything out of the interior like that! But I would absolutely love to have the results you’re talking about. Maybe an area at a time? Or will that turn out to be a PITA in the long run?

Yes, you could do just the doors and the hatch. Soundskins sells a ready kit for the 4doors and the hatch I believe. It is already pre-cut and ready to go. I almost went that route but then I thought....I really want to do the floors and the sides around the wheels etc. It is a project :curls: so get help if you can.

Little luck and good timing. Thinking KO3 or Open Country

I do have to drive 4 hours to get them. Luckily I’ll be down that way for work in a couple weeks

Changed my transfer case oil and greased drive shafts. The diffs are done and I passed on the transmission drain&fill. I have about 92k miles. I did a great job of pouring the old oil on the ground as I was trying to put it in a container. Apparently I need a funnel. Couldnt find one in the moment, so decided to make a paper one... Dont do that. :)

I used Redline MT-LV 70W/75W and new crush washers. Changed the air filter as well.

Adjusted the headlights as well. The lift had me blinding people more than normal. Now I blind them at a normal level (thank you LED headlights)

I changed my cig lighter out. I had purchased a USB-C PD replacement over a year ago. I had flush-mount USB-C lighter adapter, but did not like it coming out every time I tried to unplug. The replacement also has a volt meter in it. (11.8 is pretty low! I think the truck was not running, but with everything turned on internally).

    IMG_0705.jpg

I have a transmission and xfer case skid to install, but found one of the stock crossmember supports has a bolt that needs to be drilled out. Arg. That will happen next week and I will get everything buttoned up. Most of my 4.88 gear break-in miles are completed. It goes back into the shop for a final inspection and diff oil change, then I can get offroad and test everything out!

It has been great to be forced to drive around to break-in the gears, but in 30 minute increments and less than 55mph makes it challenging/frustrating.

Semi-upgraded my 2017 halogen headlights with aftermarket ballasts to 2022 OEM LED headlights, using Puppypunter's wiring harness. What an improvement in lighting performance!

I got the coolant replaced. It wasn't bad at all but it was approaching 50k so I decided to do now and not wait. Procedure will take 2hrs for a DIY slow kind of person like me.

On my short list of things to do. Could you share if there's a specific drain for the coolant, or if it's a "remove this hose clamp and separate the hose so that it splashes everywhere" sort of setup?

I just connected hoses at the bottom of the radiator line to a bucket and then from the engine block to a bucket. I just posted all the details on the build thread. Didn't want to post twice here and there. Check it out.

I found the link, but it seems the one I got is not available, however there is an 85W version. Here is my link: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0C1RPZ6KQ follow the link to the "newer model".

BTW, I did have to widen the lighter socket hole in the dash plastic, so there is no going back without replacing parts. Simple to do with a dremmel.

The simplest way is to just drain the radiator with the plastic drain valve on the bottom of it into a bucket. You’ll get about a gallon out of it. Then refill the radiator and drive around a bit and do it again. That will replace most of the coolant and you don’t have to mess with the engine block drains and getting air out of the system.

Finally got around to installing seat covers that I've had rattling around for 2 years. (Yeah...) First impression is they're pretty nice but not super stoked by any means. I'll follow up on how they perform. I have cloth so my interest is in keeping that from being constantly rubbed when I get in and out. Also, protection from the sun here in AZ. Also added the console cover thingy. Hopeful for the side pockets to be useful.

Are they needed for some drawers? A friend printed me some drawers last year and I've never had them shift or rattle. Just curious if it's a nice to have or if some people have had issues.

    Just curious
I have seen them with little magnets to keep them in place.
I really like the idea of the drawers
