What have you done to your 5th Gen 4Runner today?

The black upper chrome cover is a little bit cheesy, and they should’ve done the entire bar instead of just the chrome front to cover. Wonder where I can get a OEM one or that covers the entire bar?

 

My Odo says 24,000 miles but it should be like 26,000 because of 34s? When is a good time to change the Transmission and Transfer case fluids? I have done a lot of offroading, but no towing yet.

 

Did the black overlay thing, hate chrome, waiting on some Weather Tech stuff.

 

Where'd you get the overlay?? Some brands don't make the E or the R look clean.

 

The kit you ordered was an overlay or a replacement?

I hate lifted 4runners or SUVs that have 3 inch plus lift and still run stock tire size.They look ugly and obnoxious.
If I see one of these in the parking lot I go out of my way to park as far away from one as I can.

The new stuff is coming with actual black badges, the dealer hit me for $150.00 for the overlays , stupid I know, I hate chrome a lot.

Thanks. I only have the chrome that came with the 21' Limited. We trimmed the plastic up to just under the plastic-chrome where the fog-lights sit. Hope that answers your question.

I don’t remember them smelling. But was surprised that the ones on the site looked a lot nicer. I ordered directly from Tuxmat. So felt slightly misled. Overall figment is great though!

 

I ordered direct too. I get a chemical smell from them. Fitment is good but my foot catches the edge at the door sill.

Yeah, just haven’t noticed that look before and like it.

 

Don’t really like the fit of the Weather Tech cargo liner, I think the Husky liner covers more and fitment is better. Live and learn.

 

I replaced OEM floor mats with LASFIT, but stuck with OEM for the cargo liner. The fit is great, and the quality is much better than the OEM floor mats.

 

I'm glad you mentioned that. Last night I was on Amazon and ALMOST bought some Lasfit floor mats (they're still in the cart though). Do you have any pictures of your installed? I want to see how they look in the drivers footwell.
