    No Idea.
It’s just a solid vehicle. It’s capable. It’s comfortable to drive. I still prefer the driving feel of my Jeep but I do like the luxury feel of the 4Runner. And the wife is happy with it so bonus to me!!!

During the aftermath of Hurricane Beryl I lived in my 2015 SR5 4Runner for 9 days. It was 95 during the day and 78 at night. For 6 days I drove 40 miles each way to a Walmart that had power. A hot meal from their deli seemed like lagniappe. I gave myself a GI shower in the restroom and gassed up. Then did it again the next day. There were hours long periods of idling during the whole 9 days so the AC could run day and night.

So the Runner provided me with food, (it got me to a place I could get food.), shelter, (AC, a place to sleep) and clothing, (I always keep a set of "drys" in back.)

    The Runner never faltered.

It’s just a little thing. But I like that I can open the hood with one hand. With the same hand I can open the driver’s door, operate the hood release, walk around to the front and operate the auxiliary catch lever which is easy to find, and lift the hood, which stays up without the need for a prop rod. All without setting down the bottle of windshield washer fluid or whatever I have in my other hand.

24 ORP 9000 miles. I like the fact that at 6000 miles per year. I may have this for a very long time without any issues.

Yep. I've never had a daily driver, since I bought by first new car in 1989 (1990 Acura Integra), that I did not drive for at least 13 years (and someone else in my family drove them longer after that). I know that I will set my personal record for years/miles driven in this 4Runner.

Right after the freeze in 2021, we bought ourselves a generator and I installed an inlet into our breaker panel.

Beryl went right over our house and we lost power for 1 week. Was never happier about the generator, the tankless water heater, and the 4runner. We had to dodge downed power lines to get to the only open gas station about 7 miles away every day as I only had 7 gallons worth of gas cans. At several points, we had to drive down into the culvert to get around the power lines. So we could get to the gas station. Never appreciated the 4Runner more than on those drives.
