Hi all, new here, stoked to be involved in the community.

    I have a 2015 4Runner Limited.

I was adding some anti rust to the underside of the rear bumper today and when having a look at everything else I noticed the below. It looks like there is some tubing missing on the evap system? or is something more missing?

Im not experienced enough to be sure so hoping somewhere here can provide some advice/help?

    Thanks

    TSG

That looks like a wire loom without the wires.

Truck is running perfectly. No electric issues at all. Would you expect some if your hunch is right?
I do have a CEL and Trac Off lights on though.

    Also thanks for your reply!

I have no idea what it’s for but my best guess is electrical wiring loom. I’m not sure if you can trace it out to anything though

    Thank you!

its mid body, closer to rear axel than front and orientated towards the drivers side.

    Ok excellent.
My suspicions its the emissions/evap tubing then may be correct?
In any case, not going to be an expensive fix.

The next questions is... how the hell did that come off? lol.

    Thank you very much btw.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the previous owner went wheeling in some shrub area and perhaps some branches tore it off.
