Hey all! I just found this thread and wanted to share some Lego 4runners that I've made. I've made a 3rd gen, 4th gen, and a few different iterations of the 5th gen. I've posted all of them on rebrickable. I'll link them below. They're all about 1000-1500 pieces and have as many features as I could fit (steering, suspension, opening everything, accessories, etc). I've also made a smaller 5th gen too with less features. Most of them are built in a light gray color to get close to silver, but they could easily be built in other colors like red, black, blue, white, etc. The large models are about 12" long, 5" wide and 5" tall. The smaller one is about 2.5" wide, 2.5" tall and 7" long.

Looks good! You need to put raptor lights on a few models. I think many will go for it!

 

Thanks! I agree. If you zoom in really close on the silver 5th gen, I have some there in the grill! They’re just little round orange 1x1 plates that you can see the side off.

I've seen the 4Runner Boulevard at Walmart here. I've been considering picking it up. I have a Hotwheels 2020 Toyota Tacoma that I picked up a little while back. I also have an '80 Land Cruiser and '86 Toyota Van

 

ive got the matchbox and hot wheels 4runners in all the colors and Tacoma’s and such. Not necessarily a collector just got them just to have.

 

There's one thing I can't seem to find that I'd buy so fast if I found it - a 2nd gen 4Runner hotwheels/matchbox, diecast, or model kit!

I also got this for Christmas--a larger-than normal (1:43 scale) HotWheels 2000 built 4Runner, really nice looking toy! My childhood self would be almost as excited as adult me was to get that in his stocking.

 

I got this one from Target, it is the same color as mine.

 

The Toyota’s are out there!
