    Good luck, flyinhoot! For reasons only known to Toyota corporate management, they don’t allow their vehicles to be recreated as die casts, plastic model kits, lego, or anything else. That’s why you can’t find much around. Sure, occasionally some toy maker bootlegs something, but it’s usually crude and not collectible.

    You can design you own lego kits, then buy the parts to build them. Not cheap, but it can be done.

    If only it was the beginning of the lockdown and I saw this I might try it, would be a great time suck. Thought about getting this kit and then modifying it to look like a 4 runner too. Still debating.

    I would buy one in a heartbeat. I looked high and low for a Tacoma for the past 10 years but now I am on the hunt for a 4Runner. Why can I buy a Matchbox Mazda CX-5 for my wife but not a 4Runner. Who the hell collects CX-5s!?!

    Back in 2009 when I bought my FJ Cruiser (new), Toyota sent me, and I think all purchasers, a 1/18 scale FJ from www.autoartmodels.com. My real truck was green, but the model is Dr. Pepper. No pictures, but I still have it. Didn't get nuffin' from Toyota when I bought the Runner.

    Unfortunately, model 4 Runners are impossible to find. I’ve looked for diecasts and plastic models like revell and amt. nada. Too bad.

    Well, I wouldn't call this 1:18 crude. The AutoArt 1:18 FJ Cruiser is pretty nice, too. There are a lot of 1:32 models.

    Now, specific 4Runner models, I think I've seen some old Tamiya Hilux Surf model kits, but that's about it. Tomy/Tomica has some older Hilux Surf 1/64 cars.

    The Tacoma was released in two forms by Matchbox, one as a Lifeguard vehicle (2nd gen double cab) and one as a overland type vehicle (access cab with a RTT).

    I am trying so hard to look for any toys for 5th Gen. Closest I found is https://www.amainhobbies.com/elemen...r-4x4-rtr-1-10-rock-crawler-asc40104/p1220501

    Waiting a few months if nothing comes up, I will pull the trigger on this.

    They made all kinds of Toyota: Camry, rav4, Highlander, etc. but not newer 4Runner. Damn it.
