Washington DC area: Undercoating shop recommendations?

Hi all -- We are looking for a good shop to apply undercoating to our 2023 Pro. We live in the McLean area of Northern Virginia.

They're kind of a dying breed. This is the only place I'm aware of Car Detailing & Tinting In Fairfax VA | Automotive Protection Services (apsrustandtint.com)

They've been around for a long time. They used to be a Ziebart installer then switched over to whatever they're doing now. Unfortunately, I have no experience with them.

 

Have you researched Automotive Protection Services in Fairfax? If I recall, them gave me a quote for rustproofing which didn’t seem extreme.

If you have time you spend outside of the DC/NoVa area, have the work done there. Too many things are wildly expensive in the area.

Illustration: Price on quart of Toyota T-IV transmission fluid (Lexus ES) is at least $12, maybe $ 15 by now, Tyson's Corner. That same quart in upstate South Carolina is about six dollars. Have the work done in Pittsburgh, in West Virginia, anywhere but around 495.
