VIN check for 4 runner?

Been looking to buy a low mile 4 runner with a service history report showing oil changes etc from the dealer. I looked at carfax and they want $50 for a single report!

That will not work when i'm searching in the parking lot. It seems the free VIN checks sites up sell you to get all the data.

Any suggestions?

I did try bumper and it does not show service history.

 

We do our own maintenance and oil changes, so Carfax keeps sending us "maintenance due" e-mails, I'm really not sure how Carfax works as far as updates, but maybe you can try to locate the previous owner? Seeing how the previous owner has already completed a deal with this vehicle involved, he/she might not have any reason to bullshit you on the service history.

 

actually i found out that you can login to toyota.com enter the VIN and see the service history if it was serviced by a toyota dealer.
