    Hello,

A few days ago I started my truck up and put into drive and heard this vibrating/crackling noise from the 4H gear shift. i thought maybe it would just go away but its been making this noise when i press onto the gas pedal and when i am driving at a constant speed down the road. it sounds the white noise from a old tv kind of. Anyone dealt with this and know how to fix it. truck is a 4runner 2022 ORP. i took a video but cant upload. its not loud but you can hear it with light music on and its been 5 days now and wont go away. i have tried putting in 4H and driving for a while but does it in 4H too. it a constant vibrating that only really stops when i let off the gas pedal.

That shifter is always vibrating as long as the engine is running. There have been reports of a piece coming loose under that cap. Check that.

The shift knob likes to rattle. I ended up throwing on my green glow in the dark knob I had on my Subbie, and it is now nice and quiet.
