I've done some searching online for an organizer for all my stuff (4way, tow ropes, tools, etc.) and haven't been super impressed with the cheap-looking fabric/thin plastic offerings. What are you using? Any suggestions?

This works great for me. With the wheels it's easy to remove when not needed. Holds tools, straps, battery jump starter, air compressor, axe, and lots of other odds and ends.

I use a tool bag. It’s soft, and conforms to the cargo space. Easy to move around and holds quite a bit, including a 24” breaker bar so that I can get wheel nuts off.

I use a pelican case for all my recovery gear ect. I live it, it is extremely durable, has wheels and an extendable handle. It is definitely on the expensive side, however I intend on putting it on the roof once my Gobi rack arrives and the pelican cases are excellent at keeping the weather out. It also comes with foam if you want to make specialized compartments within the case for delicate items

There are also a huge assortment of sizes.

Nice! I was thinking Pelican after I posted this. What size do you have?

That's kind of what I have now but would like something a little larger and more durable.

I’ve added a bit more stuff, and I’m going to get another matching bag, and probably zip tie a marker on it. That way I can differentiate my kit for when I’m on or off road. There’s no sense carrying a lot of off road gear around when I’m mall crawling.

I installed a permanently mounted gun safe in my rear but wanted storage on top that is non permanent but doesn't move around. I took an industrial box and mounted strong magnetic feet coated in rubber on top. Good for a few tools, lunch box and my duty belt.

I'll take a picture of mine later but it's a Yeti Loadout GoBox. The rubber pads on the bottom are great so it doesn't slide around on the cargo tray (carpet).

I haven’t pulled the trigger on any inside storage yet, but my plan is to take a modular approach with multiple smaller boxes. Which box(es) go in the truck depends on what the trip will be.

Basic “daily driver” stuff (jumper cables, tie-downs for the inside anchor points, small first-aid kit, multi-tool, light duty tow rope, flashlight, road flares, and similar) will “permanently” go in the factory nooks and crannies and under the slide out rear cargo deck.

Additional stuff for long (paved) road trips will go in a small box (weather dependent items like chains, extra water, survival blankets, snacks, oil, tie-wraps, duct tape, etc).

Off-road gear (recovery gear, compressor, shovel, hatchet, etc) would go in its own box.

The anticipated trip type determines which box(es) go in the truck.
