I have a 2022 4Runner TRD Off Road and my infotainment system s randomly shutting off and turning on. Additionally I’m getting random squelching and popping through the stereo speakers. Doesn’t matter blue tooth, USB or the stereo. Anyone have any correction ideas????

Too many to list & Worth every penny!
    Are you still under warranty?

    If so, take it in.
See if there are any updates needed on the head unit first.
Try doing a hard reset by pushing/holding the volume down until it restarts the HU.

    Oooh look, another mod.....

    Quick Fixes to Try First
    1. Soft Reset: Press and hold the audio system's power/volume knob for 4-5 seconds until the Toyota logo appears and the system reboots.
    2. Disconnect USB: Unplug any phone or device from the USB port; bad cables or connections are frequent culprits.
    3. Disconnect Battery: Disconnect the car battery for a minute to fully reset electronics, which solved it for some owners.
    4. Check Fuses: Visually inspect the radio/audio fuses in your fuse box; a blown fuse can cause issues, but use a multimeter to be sure.

Is your HU pushed in all the way? Sometimes it just needs to be snapped closed

Head Unit. @kolter45 is suggesting that the head unit may not be fully seated causing a bad connection in the back of the unit.

It's probably just a flaky head unit. Since you're out of warranty, replacing with new OEM will be expensive (MSRP is $5300). Can try sending it to a place like United Radio for repair: https://www.unitedradio.com/industries-we-serve/automotive/ You can of course also change to an aftermarket unit from Pioneer, Alpine, Daisaita, etc. but may lose some functions like adjusting settings for door locks and lights.

There's also the Hard Reset that worked for me on a 2015. It might work for you, but you'll lose most of your settings.

    1) Turn on ignition, but don't start the car.
    2) Press and hold the APPS button on the radio while performing step 3 below.
    3) Cycle the head lights 3 times (turn on then off the headlights 3 times)
    • This activates a hidden service screen on the display, you can release the APPS button.
    4) Press and hold the "INIT" button on the display until a dialog box appears with the text "Personalized data is initialized. OK? [YES] [NO]" 5) Select YES, and your radio returns to the factory settings.
