Does anyone know what the widest 20” (8.5” wide wheel) tire that can be installed on a 2025 4Runner excluding TRD Pro and Trailhunter trims? I’m getting widths between 275 (which I know fits, I have 275/60/20 in my cart currently, Nitto Grapplers) and 285. No rubbing, no mods and with mud guards. The space in the wheel well with stock tires (Dunlops, to boot) is driving me nuts, aesthetically. Not even dealers have a concrete answer. Thanks in advance.

nobody has tried every tire yet
Most are jumping to 33x12.50 or 35x12.50 with a slight lift and aftermarket wheels

I am quite confident you can fit a whole lotta tire under there, just get the 285s.

Thx. 285/60 or 285/65? Also Nitto only has that size in 10ply (E) which are no good in water from my experience.
