Recently had 285/70R17 BFG KO2's installed on Fuel Shok 9'' wheels and a -12mm offset. Also had a 3'' lift installed at the same time.

I have just a little bit of rubbing on the inside of both front wheel wells when turning. The tires are making contact with a piece of plastic just above the mudflaps (or maybe they are part of the mud flaps)? I'm wondering if I can take them off, or perhaps some other options that I'm overlooking. Thanks in advance!

    working on it
Heat gun and a spray bottle of cold water. You simply want to heat up the area where it rubs and push it flat with a blunt object, wooden baseball bat works. With the area pushed back spray ice cold water on it and it will keep that shape.

Nice! This is a great option that I hadn't thought of. I really doesn't look like I need to deform much to get it out of the way. That would probably be better than removing it.

Are there any downsides to doing that?

Its only the fronts they be fine lol.

Mine went in the trash right away. No problems with kicking up rocks or anything yet.

I should mention maybe check if your state requires them. Here rears are required but not fronts.

More stone chips in your paint.

I wouldn't remove them unless you try the heat gun method and still rub.

Drive through a puddle & turn your wheel back & forth. Everything on your door is a possible chip.
After 3 weeks of ownership. We decided that the doors (with mudflaps) needed Expel.
You don't want to see the rocker panels on my plow trucks. They will get Line-x when I have the cash. I wash the truck after every storm also...
My buddies with Subarus add (rallyarmor) debris flaps front & rear for protection. Why are we different?
    Keep the protection! My $0.02.
