Tire inflator gage

I've searched and I'm coming up short. I want to add in-line gage to my portable compressor with trigger. What do ya'll use? What brand? Amazon has a bunch that all look the same, but I don't want to buy junk.

Hard to do. If you're seeing the pressure in the tire, inline, then youll read the tank, or what have you.
Just air down, look, and adjust. Takes seconds. And no offense, but it seems like you wont be doing it to often. Happy adventures mate.

Edit- my point is, youll have to isolate one from the others. Me, i just use a nice gauge, and either let air out, or, put it in. (Ill also bet thats why you cant find exactly what you're looking for)

I used a T-fitting to attach it where the hose connects to the inflator. Works great!

 

Pricey but you'll buy it only once and look at it many times later:

None taken, I appreciate it all. I'm putting things on/with my 4Runner to enhance or add to it's capability. Not so much for tackling difficult trails, but for difficult situations. Call it my "get out of Dodge" vehicle in case we need to run. (insert tinfoil hat reason here) I learned to drive off road in 1/4 ton Jeeps, before Hummers showed up. First Hummer I saw was at Warrior Base in '86'ish. I had a full cage and custom armor on my last Wrangler. The 4Runner presents better options for my intended purposes. This board has great information and the off road community niches right into others. Some of my relatives live on the coast so hurricane evac happens from time to time. Being stuck on the interstate for 10hrs is not my idea of fun. Not when one can't make their own path if necessary.

Viair sells chucks with gauges. I use a more accurate gauge with bleeder for final pressure.

Also check Joes Racing Products or Summit. Joes is faily inexpensive and pretty good.

 

Not a brand recommendation, but a range recommendation.
Find a gauge that covers the pressure range you normally expect to encounter. For me, it's 0-60 psi. I usually run my tires at 35 psi. A 0-60 psi gauge as a more expanded scale than, say, a 0-150 psi gauge and will be easier to read.
I also recommend calibrating, or at least comparing, your gauge(s) to another one of known accuracy.

This is what I purchased for accuracy and I keep in both vehicles. I had digital but the batteries always leak and ruin the gauge.

This reminds me of a question which ones are accurate. The psi on the dash seem to show lower number vs what other devices show.

Eg - when I put 34psi according to my cheap portable compressor or even at discount tire on my dash it shows 3 or 4 psi less, ie 30psi or so.. Anyone else noticed the issue or is it just my 4Runner having a bad monitoring system? I asked Toyota dealership to have a look when I went for 1000ish miles first oil change but did not help.

 

Thats cool. I use one from ARB. And like it. I run co2 tanks. Compressors, are dumb expensive, heavy, take up all sorts of room, and usually need the rig running to use, and even super nice/expensive ones, still take a while to air up from 12psi to road worth pressure. None of that with my tanks. But, ya, i have to refill them, like every other year or so, for 8 bucks a tank.
Thar said, the ARB gauge i use, is great, that said, a 9 dollar one you find anywhere will show you if your good to go or not, while in the bush.
