I just drove Tin Cup Pass from the St Elmo side. Nice scenery with lots of camping spots along the way. The trail is quite rocky and slow. I dragged an A-arm and bumped a skid a few times. Most of the traffic is SxS and some of them leave no stone unturned. Aside from lots of SxS and motorcycles I saw one Jeep Compass, three Jeeps, and four 4Runners.

Is it wrong that I hate them?

I can understand why, they get a bad wrap though. It's the uneducated rental scene that gives the responsible owners a bad wrap.

They are very capable and watching that suspension soak up the bumps as they cruise away make me envious.
That area has a great thing going with SxS recreation. Lots of them on the many long trails there. Lots of them socializing and supporting the local eateries in Tin Cup and Pitcan.
I’ve been there twice, once in the TJ and once in the T4R. The trails have too many stretches of mostly cantaloupe sized and larger stones and lots loose. It’s hard to enjoy the scenery while constantly watching for the best line. No real obstacles on the few I’ve driven.
    Beautiful very accessible area.

That's fair I guess (re: sxs). My experience with them has not been positive (eg blocking the trail for sxs to sxs conversations, tossing litter, always drinking beer while driving, trail detours, deliberately tearing shit up, etc) but it's possible there's a higher concentration of assholes near me than you guys

Your experience is common and becoming more standard sadly.
