Where did you run wiring for front camera. I'm assuming a dash cam. I put a dash cam in my tacoma and wired up no problem but I just can't fight my way around the wifes 4runner. There's a lot of shit under that dash.

NO DRILL !! I just looked at one online and the full needs a "plusnut" to support the front leg. The 3/4 does not need an additional anchor point. Do you have a link to the one you have. My wife would flip out if I drilled a hole in "her" 4runner.

Never mind I found it. Should have searched a bit longer. I was looking at Rhino Rack but this is a little cheaper and I like the full length without drilling a new hole.

Front camera was mounted under the front grill.. its not a dash cam.. more like a parking front cam.

I ran the wire along the perimeter of the engine bay and thru the firewall..thru the existing rubber grommet containing the existing wires

Nice, what camera did you go with? Any pics mounted, soon as I get my new head unit I'm adding a front cam.
Side question. Do they make DVR for front and rear cams to act like dash cams?

Nice thread OP. Also have a 3rd gen Taco and just got the wife a 4runner too. Hate having to spread mod monies between two vehicles now. First world problems...

These are awesome! I've been looking for something like this to hold down my gun cases on top. Can you please list the products exactly do you need to purchase for this?
