IMG_6430.jpg IMG_6428.jpg IMG_6429.jpg IMG_6423.jpg Greetings 4Runner homies. New member here. Im EightyZips and I design/make/sell auto interior parts. I’m not here to sell any thing currently, but may venture into making some stuff for the 4Runners in the future.
On 9/25/25 my wife Olivia and I took delivery of our 2025 Everest Trailhunter.. it’s been a ton of fun for us this past month. We started out by picking the truck up from Rohrich Toyota in Pittsburgh PA, making the drive up from Maryland in my wife’s trade-in vehicle, a 2015 Honda Fit EX-L. This is our first SUV/big vehicle of any kind. Our sales rep was TJ, he is an easy dude to work with and made sure the truck had everything we wanted on it and nothing we didn’t. Put the factory exhaust upgrade on it and the sound is really fantastic.
Anyway, we took the truck from Pitt straight down to St Pete Florida for a weekend getaway. Beautiful highway handling and I let that fancy cruise control do a lot of the miles for me. When we got home I gave it a quick machine polish, followed by a Gtechniq ceramic treatment inside and out. This was my first time applying ceramic, but not my first time polishing, and I’d say the job went pretty smoothly. It’s been crazy seeing how clean it stays on its own now. So far all I’ve done is throw a Dometic cooler in the back with an ecoflow power station on the way to keep it alive for longer trips. I’d like to get some recommendations for swing out rear bumper replacements so that we can get the spare mounted up higher from the dirt. We have few decent trail/off-road opportunities in my area, but we have a day trip planned to Virginia next week to get our 4x4 feet wet, and will venture down to the smokies this winter to see what kind of trouble we can get in there with it.
    Peace out Girl Scouts

Thanks for the warm welcome yall. We went down Peters mill run the other day, and tested out the 4x4 and crawling drive mode a little bit even though it isn’t super necessary to get through that one, on the day we went at least.. everything went great, the 4R handled that trail really easily. I aired down for it just to make the rocky sections a little more comfortable. The little concrete bridges were a blast to flex the suspension on too. The first branch marks have been laid on the trim so I guess it’s time to really let er rip. Gonna go back that way soon for a few days and drive some of the other great trails in Virginia✌
