Stuck in the stupidest way

So just about every day I go out looking for eagles, and I found a few, long story short, I found one right off the side of a back road. Went to park on the side, so i wasn't blocking it for anyone, it was wet and insanely muddy...... not even traction boards helped and I tried all kinds of ways, finally a tractor pulled me out lol








Morale of the story is, just block off the road, screw everybody else,.. exactly what I'm doing next time lolol

Been there done that myself. Once it was in my beater S10 Blazer with a not completely functional 4wd. I had to pull on the cable by hand because the rubber diaphragm to the actuator had deteriorated. Went to open the hood and the latch broke. All this while the water level was rising during the heavy rains CA actually saw in like 2004.

In your defense I wouldn't have guessed underneath that grass was a bottomless mud pit... Way worse than it looked!

 

Wow - that was some serious mud right there. I can't imagine the cleanup afterwards -

She'll get hosed down good on Monday, at work till then... but there's enough to notice a steering wheel wobble for now

 

Put the sprinkler under it. If that shit dries, you'll have to get it wet again before it begins to rinse off.

I bet i could've got out if i wasn't a dumb ass and dug over half the wheel deep, those traction boards were trying to bite, but that front hole was a monster lol

Nice. Yeah. My runner stays dirty and goes everywhere all the time, she's hardly ever clean anymore, figured i/ and it isn't going to last forever. Might as well use it lol

Yeah we were just done with a lovely hike and decided to a little drive in the mud would liven things up a bit.

It was getting a little traction, but the front right hole was just too deep

 

Welp, now I'm kinda worried guys, just left the car wash, and i still have a wobble going on, some of the things goggle is saying

Guess I'll crawl under and look around a lil bit tom

 

After I got stuck my steering wheel shook insanely at 25 mph.

I crawled to the closest gas station and spraying the hose there scooped mud out of the wheel. Was completely full.

Got home and had to take the brakes apart as they were caked with mud.

The mud was full of rocks and scraped the inside of the wheels and scraped the wheel weights off.

Had to go get my wheels balanced.

 

Yeah. I was kinda thinking that was possibility, the weights..... funny how an accident can turn costly

 

Just took a quick glance when I got home with a phone light, there's still mud on the inside of the wheel atleast.......

The worst part of that day is i only got one, but he was so far away , it doesn't even matte......
