MagFlow Exhaust; Volant Cold Air Intake; TRD - wheels, grill, roof rack basket
Depending on my next steps concerning the frame (see post titled "Buyers Remorse" under General 4Runner Talk Forum) I am considering listing the 4Runner around ~$6k obo as shown below. Does anyone have experience selling or see anything else I can add? I want to provide full disclosure to potential buyers to prevent any feelings I am currently experiencing and ensure for ethical and safety reasons they understand what is needed ahead of scheduling any viewings

MECHANIC SPECIAL – Please read everything for full details.

    2004 Toyota 4Runner 4x4 – V8 (~132k Miles) CLEAN CARFAX // TITLE IN HAND

    The Good:
    • Low miles
    • Current VA State Inspection (through April 2026)
    • Very clean interior – no tears, stains, smoke, or odors
    WeatherTech floor mats
    • JVC touchscreen stereo w/ JBL Synthesis sound system
    • MagnaFlow exhaust & Volant cold air intake
    • Timing belt replaced at 100k miles (see CARFAX)
    • TRD upgrades – wheels, grill, roof rack basket
    • BFG All-Terrain tires in good shape
    • Fresh rear brakes
    • Full-size spare + original bottle jack
    • Heat, A/C, windows, electronics all work perfectly
    • Factory tow hitch

    The Bad:
    • 4th-gen frame rust – two areas on passenger side needs patching/repair (see photos)
    • Engine developed a ticking noise while driving by previous owner – diagnosed as valve issue on Cylinder #6. Not recommended to drive as-is to prevent damage to a stuck valve (#6), will need to be towed.
    • OBD code shows misfire on all cylinders

I can provide a video of the engine running for a better understanding of current status. It cranks up no issue and shifts fine when driving, I just don't want to cause any unnecessary damage before repairs are made.

***Will be out of the area and unable to show the vehicle until week of 7/7***

I was reading about the frame in a previous post... didn't know anything about the engine. Take the engine out, do a rebuild on it, make it better! Rebuild it so you can tow your boat more reliably. Your getting into that 'expensive fix' area, but this truck has a bunch of pluses to with a few minuses.
