Stickers on your 4runner?

My guy, no one should be asking for internet approval at any age. Tape it off and put National Park sticker racing stripes right up the hood. Or stick on all the parks you havent been too and only remove them once you get there. We didnt buy your rig so we dont get say. Just slap on whatever makes you happy when you walk up to it.

 

Also, Washington State Sasquatch, Masonic Square & Compass, and a "Beware of the Beard-Wirehaired Pointing Griffon"

@TX4x4, my take is that few people will really pay attention to stickers and of those, fewer still will care what they see. It's really for you, so please do whatever you want. I like them as reminders of fun times so one side of my rear window is a “where I’ve wheeled” section and only places I’ve been make the cut, and really only my very favorites due to space.

My initial criteria was actually where I've been specifically in my 4R but made exceptions for Shafer Trail in Canyonlands & Georgia Pass in the Rockies (rented Jeeps) and for the Condomine River Gorge in Australia (a complete stranger's Mitsubishi Pajero, a pretty amazing story of kindness if you have a minute). Other side is for affiliations and advocacy and there are USA flags on the side windows b/c I unashamedly love this remarkable country. Everything else is on the toolbox (snowman, the mascot for Venture Unknown's fantastic Winter Wonderland at Windrock event, is one of my faves, just too big for the truck).

 

How about where there's supposed to be a sticker? Turkey feather instead of inspection sticker!

OP, my last 2 vehicles only had a DU sticker. I went another way with this one

 

Had a bunch of stickers on my 07 FJ back in the day, No stickers on our 4Runner. Only a few patches on headliner.

 

I added a sticker. An Army Veteran won!

 

I've seen acceptance for anything and everything around here.

The only suggestion I would have is to consider the space on your vehicle as "worth something," or at least the outside part of it. I like the idea of stickers on the inside of the hatch lid and would personally put anything there, including all the "free" stickers I got from product purchases, but I'm saving the windows (probably not paint) for things that either mean something personal to me, are funny, or are for a non-profit. I have no intention of being an unpaid rolling billboard, unless it's something I would highly recommend to someone else.

 

I put all my stickers on my rear diff tubes/pumpkin on my Tacoma.

 

Ya man, there’s some very nice, inclusive folks who display acceptance of evil, cursed stickers here.
My window these days is reserved for meaningful brands I run on the truck or groups I drive with.
The Runner was paid off years ago. Beyond the window, I lost complete control..

as a young skateboarder kid, I used to manufacture my own stickers with help from my uncle who works at the Canada Ticket factory. Fun fact for the haters

 

I’m personally not a fan of stickers on vehicles, but my wife made this vinyl windshield decal for me that I really like!

Happy to share it with others who appreciate it! I try to keep stickers on glass so I don't mess up the paint trying to get them off when they eventually wear out, though I thought long and hard about putting it on the lower right corner of the tailgate before I settled on a less conspicuous position. I don't put them on the back glass because I don't want them to get damaged when the window rolls down and I don't want to wear out the gasket.

I have a few others on the little triangle windows of the back door glass. A couple of sawbill boundary waters canoe area (BWCA) stickers and some dive stickers of cool places I've been (Belize and Galapagos)

 

I think the storm trooper fog decals are OK

 

How about stickers on rearview mirrors? To keep things interesting...

Maybe you guys can help me? I purchased a grill emblem from someone here, and can not remember who it was. I really like the emblem and am trying to refurbish it a little, and i need the round center piece that just sticks on, thanks in advance.

How about a side view mirror sticker?



I hide my colors until I roll into camp and open up my hatch. And I like those undercarriage stickers some of you are sporting. Like a message to later mechanics.

-If you’re implying not a sticky mirror but an actually decal, I got toyota stripe decals on the front face of my mirrors
