Hi guys- been curious about something recently but couldn’t seem to find the answer I was looking at. Has anyone here changed out and/or upgraded their steering rack to improve turn ratio? The difference between my 4Runner (2018) and Tacoma (2015) seems pretty drastic and I’ve started exploring options to change it out in the 4Runner. Thanks!

Which version of 2015 Tacoma? Standard cab 2.7 liter 4 cyl, or Access cab Sport 4.0 liter Tacoma?

The wheelbase is shorter on the standard cab 4 cylinder.

I noticed the turning radius difference between my 2013 Access Cab Tacoma and the current 4R right away, but have just gotten used to it. Even if you could replace the rack with an aftermarket, I don't think you could reduce the turning radius significantly without having the tires rub a suspension component somewhere.

I have a 2015 Access Cab Tacoma Sport 2WD. That's where I was going with this - the difference in the turning radius between a 2WD and a 4WD would be different, I think.
