SSO stealth bumper w/ HF badlands winch

Has anyone on here used the HF apex badland (12k)winch with the SSO stealth bumper?!? Nice fit? Had to mod?

 

I’m wondering the same question. Anyone tried this yet? OP?

 

I ended up buying the smittybilt x20… it fits perfect.

 

For future searchers, I can say for certain that the Badland Apex 12k winch won't work with the SSO stealth bumper for the 5th gen. The winch is a big boy. The control box is in the way of the bumper, and if it wasn't (with the control box relocated) I think the grill would nearly, if not completely rest on top of the winch. But that's not the worst part. The winch clutch lever won't clear the grill/bumper cover. The winch (unlike the x20) can't have the gearbox clocked, so there is no solving the problem that way (and also renders the holes in my bumper useless. Going to return it in the morning and pick up an x20. Thought I could save a few bucks, but it ended up not working out. It is a great winch though, and the amount of accessories, including the battery disconnect and really nice hook, make it well worth the price tag. Would absolutely use this winch in the appropriate context, but inside a stealth bumper is not that.
