SRS Airbag Malfunction after removing front passenger seat

Long story short, we removed the front passenger seat and disconnected the 3 electrical plug wires before disconnecting the battery power. Disconnected battery after the fact.

Cleaned the seat (purpose of removal), reinstalled seat, reconnected the 3 plug wires, connected battery and now we have the SRS Airbag Sensor popping on as well as the seatbelt blinking red on the dashboard.

At the dealer now but they can't seem to identify the issue.

Why would disconnecting the front passenger seat plugs before disconnecting the battery create such an issue? Airbags didn't deploy, everything is reconnected but now the warning can't be reset or go away.

Any thoughts are appreciated.
