I never give up and went through the lemon process and Toyota identified the problem as new light weight rotors in the front. They replaced them, no charge, everything is fine now.

Is that the one where it was when braking in reverse?

Replaced them with what? Did they update the TSB?

LC250’s have had the same issue I believe. Glad they took care of it.

That’s mine. But only in reverse AND while in Florida over 80 degrees. Back home in Chicago. NOTHING. Perfectly quiet. Drives me insane.

Just turn the radio up louder. Makes all the bangs, rattles, and squeaks disappear... :)

Know a guy who completely wrecked his engine because his music was up so loud. Could have saved the car for sure if he pulled over when the timing belt snapped but nope, kept on going, belt snapped, by the time he realized what happened the car was dead and the engine was seized but the music was still pumpin'! A lesson for everyone (even me). Yes, I like loud music. But I periodically turn down the radio to make sure everything sounds like its running OK

He also would have not seen a CEL. I agree with you, pay attention people.
