    Hello,

My wife has a conference in april at the island of palms in SC so I couldnt resist tagging along. Im gonna be able to pack my shorter rod and some of my tackle. Ill try and catch some bait but a very good chance that will end poorly (me with a net is not good). Its at a resort and I wont have a car, making getting bait a challenge.

Any recommendations on lures to try? I much prefer bait, but might not be an option.

planning on wading out and casting to first deep channel before sandbar.

    Thanks Matt
