Thank you! I went and test drove them and it was great, I believe it's the perfect mix between my previous LC 200 and the 4Runner. I'll always give the "looks" to the 4Runner though. Take care. :)

The SCS Wheels are 17x8.5 (-10 offset) no regrets, wheels and tires balanced fine. I can’t fairly compare the Wescott Ladder to the C4. I was completely satisfied wit the quality of the Wescott lift, so I just decided to get their ladder, no regrets on the ladder choice either. I did get HD rear hatch struts and installed them also.

I don’t understand “Untamed Motor - You Tube Channel”. He posted a video that Nobody wants to buy the Solar Octane color. I paid extra to get mine back in March. He even bought the SO himself. Oh well, this is the guy that posted the video that there wouldn’t be a 2024 year 4Runner. I think some of these folks just post crap to bait you in. The point of my rant is that I love the color and understand how some may not. I think the only thing that would slow the sale is the price for the TRD Pro is steep. I bet the ORPs that get the SO color in 2024 will have no problem selling.

I have watched a lot of his you tube videos. He probably has owned all the color pros in the 4runner and he has had the Tacomas and tundra Pro’s. He buys them and sells them a lot. The last one he bought with the SO said he wanted the last of the Gen 5 4runner. Don’t know how long he will keep that. But my opinion the reasoning he posted that and he is seeing a lot of Pro’s on the lots is I think people are slowing down from paying over the msrp on the Pro’s. When you start seeing them on the lots and not being sold is because dealers are asking over. I know for sure 3 close to me are all charging over.

Matt, Just curious when you removed your roof rack and added the delete what silicone or sealant did you put around the bolt holes. I did the same when I had my AG Pro. May do it to my SO when it comes in. Just wanted to compare what you added. Thanks Don.

Well now that you've mentioned it, probably. I'm a newbie. I was planning on just putting a Cornfed 3/4" level on it. This vehicle is very capable all ready. Just want a more level look.

The corn fed is cheaper. But the westcott lift is made just for the Fox suspension on the Pro. Pull up their website and you tube you can see how the 4runner looks with it on. Just giving you some ideas.

Hello all! New here. We bought our solar octane on Christmas Eve 2022. Haven’t done too many changes yet (we’re in the middle of a major home remodel) but have done some small things like tint, window decals, hood scoop decal, plates, and a few odds and ends. Put the Texas flag on those back windows but they’re tinted so dark it’s hard to see them. First 4Runner and we love her! We’ve been over landing a couple times and hit up the beach for the first time a couple weeks ago.

I went with the Wescott collar up front (without the accompanying spacer) and netted right at 1” lift up front. I then went with a set of 1” Bilstein springs in the rear (keeping the factory Fox shocks front and rear of course), and basically just moved everything up 1” while keeping the same rake as factory. The Bilstein’s are a bit stiffer than the factory spring, and sag less under load with no change in ride characteristics.

Below is a before and after pic with different TRD wheels, and sliders (as opposed to factory plastic steps) being the only other difference.

That sounds like a good set up 4MarksMan! You can see the difference. Did you stay with factory size tire? And you only used the bottom spacer for the westcott also. Where did you buy the bilsteins rear coils and part number? So you are basically 2 inch lift all around correct because the Pro comes 1 inch. Just confirming because this sounds like a good way to go also if you don’t do the whole westcott lift. Thanks.

I did stay with the factory size 265’s (as that was my goal all along) and went with Nitto Ridge Grapplers. If you wanted to go with 285’s you should do the full Wescott TRD Pro (collar and spacer) front lift and their rear 1.25” spacer.

The rear of my rig is now right at 1” higher than stock in the front and rear with the set-up I used, so you could say that the front is now technically 1 3/4” higher than any non-Pro 4R as the Pro comes with roughly 3/4” more lift in the front than any other 4R. However, in my experience, all 4R’s are essentially the same height in the rear from the factory.

I had a local shop order the springs for me from a supplier, but here is the part number and link.

Thank you, I agree if you do 285’s not sure if I’m going that round this time. Did that on my 2020 AG Pro. I had Eibach springs on my 20 to lift it higher. They mounted on the Fox shocks. Going to wait and drive my 4runner for a while and then decide. Thank you for the info!! Appreciate it. Also curious you could have stayed with the stock size tire and just did the full westcott lift. Still looks good with stock tire. The reason I asked is I know for sure how it will look cause I have pics from my AG Pro and it was lifted the same height as the westcott lift and stock tires still looked good.

I did buy the full Westcott Pro lift, and may decide to install the front spacer at a later time. Might also install a 1/4” - 1/2” rear spacer (or just reinstall the factory rear springs with the Westcott 1.25” spacer) if I do the front.

Post a pic of yours with that lift and 265’s if you get a chance.

Ok. I did not know if you thought about running the westcott lift that’s why I asked. The only pic I have is with my tundra side by side when I traded it in. But the Eibach springs I went with lifted it pretty the same as westcott cause I was able to run 285’s on SCS wheels and front mud flaps removed no rubbing. Are you able to receive private messages? Not sure if you have to have so many post to start a conversation. I can send the pic their instead of tying this post up. I will send you it and see if it comes thru. Yeah I cannot send it private.

    No worries.

Just to clarify, in regards the Westcott Pro 4R lift, I guess you could say I used 1/3 of it…

I used the front collars without the front spacer (so half of the front portion of their lift). I did not use their rear spacers since I use the 1” Bilstein rear lift springs instead.

My goal was to obtain 1” of lift over the stock Pro 4R and still run 265’s without causing any adverse handling at interstate speeds, problems with alignment, etc., etc.

Nothing wrong with that. I’m doing everything I can lol not to touch my Pro. I have to say when I had my 2020 AG pro with 285’s and ridge grapplers and mounted on 8.5 inch wheel I did not have to brake much in the turns on the back roads. It handled pretty good for being SUV. I know when I had the westcott lift on my 21 tundra Pro and running bigger tires that lift tighten up the suspension making that nose dive go away and a little stiffer but in a good way.

I might go to my tire guy and do a swap out to better tire but stay stock size. He hooked me up before with my tundra stock tires.

So …. I’m thinking about replacing the TRD Pro Roof rack with the Wescot Design low profile (w/ ladder) and putting on KO2s (black wall). I don’t want to tweak anything that could void the warranty so I’ll be sticking w/ 17s on the tires. Any thoughts ??
