Bought these when I had my Bronco. I had planned to put 3 pair in the modular bumper and I had ditch light mounts that fit 2 lights each.

I’ve got the D-Switch from Diode Dynamics to make these all work. Still trying to figure out how to mount it. I heard a company was working on it, but I forget who. What would you do?

I would not permanently mount any lights that cannot be run thru a car wash. Ditch lights seem the most useful and I think mounted in a way they can be attached and plugged into a power connection under the hood. So permanently mount the light brackets but have the lights removable. Prepping for an outing requires lots of stuff and adding one more things is fine with me.

Behind the grill mount for square pods. DD makes a mount.

    done some stuff to it
Put the Pro fogs on the bumper and sell the rest? If you aren't doing high speed offroad, 1 pair plus your normal factory lights is plenty.

I have a pair of the pod lights in front of my grill, bolted to plastic bumper cover. No special mount needed.

The C2 Pros do make good ditch lights and the size is right for reverse lights but brightness of Pro is overkill for reverse.

Yessir. I forgot your second set of SS3s. Lower grille for them IMO. I’d swap lenses too so you can run them on road in the upper and lower grille

    No Idea.
For the DSwitch doesn’t it come with a bracket plate to mount it to? Not sure if they make anything for Runners but contact 813 Designs. They may be able to come up with something if you send them some pics and measurements. Top notch small business.
For the lights go drive a trail at night without them and figure out what you want to see that you can’t see clearly. Then mount them based on that.

It probably does. I haven't even opened the box... I was talking about something specific to the 4Runner to mount the switchpad in the cab somewhere. Thanks for the suggestion on 813 Designs!

Do you mind taking some pics of the install when it arrives? I mounted my wife’s D switch pad to the left of the steering wheel but the original plan was to mount it up top in that exact spot. As long as it doesn’t destroy the overhead console with the install, I’d rather move it there. I see the instructions say it requires a small notch so just curious how small that notch is

I don’t even see where the instructions are. But I’ll let you know how it goes.

I had some time on my hands. Designed and printed my own version. It’s a solid place to have the pad and much prefer it to the left of the driver’s spotIMG_3775.jpg
